If you like the TV show ‘The Office‘ then I believe that you will enjoy the movie 305 which is a spoof of the hit movie 300.

First thing I want to point out is that you’ll need to watch this tongue in cheek because this is clearly a low budget ‘B’ movie. It’s obviously a movie that was shot entirely in front of a green screen. The acting is terrible, but in a way that it fits in perfectly.

Based on the online smash hit, ‘305′ is a mockumentary detailing the misadventures of five not-so-brave members of the Spartan army charged with guarding a seemingly ordinary goat path. But when their actions lead to the death of King Leonidas and his army of 300 men, the five must find a way to redeem themselves and save Sparta from invasion.

It has its ups and downs and gets a bit boring about half way through. The start is probably the most humorous part of the entire movie. But if you can handle it long enough, you’ll start to get a few more chuckles near the end again.

Now I don’t want to totally trash it because, after all, this is mockumentary and is supposed to be stupid in a comedic sort of way. It is actually a funny movie when you catch on to some of the under the breath comments the characters make. Like the part in the spoiler clip where the guy said he was sucker punched, and the other guy replies, “Yea, you got sucker punched alright, over and over again.”

Like I said, you need to watch this movie with tongue in cheek and take it as it is. If the characters from The Office decided to make a spoof of the Movie 300, then this would be it. It’s funny no matter how you look at it. The dry comedy is about as dry as a popcorn fart, but you can’t help but laugh at it anyway.

This is one of those movies you might want to add to your video collection of dumb comedy.
