I was putting this movie off for awhile thinking it was just another gang movie. You know what I mean? If you’ve seen one gang movie, you’ve seen them all right?

Another thing I didn’t realize is that it is inspired by true events. Alpha Dog turned out to be something that I just caved into watching because there’s nothing on the television on a Sunday. To my surprise, I was glued to the movie and it ends up that I really liked the movie.

There are a couple of well known names like Bruce Willis, and Justin Timberlake. I’ll be honest when I say, “I’d rather see Justin Timberlake act than listening to his music.” Oh, I’m gonna get some hate directed at me for that comment for sure, by the Justin Timberlake fans. But that’s just my opinion and you’re entitled to it.

Unaware that this movie was inspired by true events at first, I thought that it had a pretty good story to it and that’s what kept me glued to the movie. Then I found out it’s based on true events and kinda figured that it was to good to have been made up.

The acting was very good in this movie and you get tied into the lives of the characters and you actually feel sorry for…. ACK! Better stop right there mister! I almost gave away something good there. Lets just say Anton Yelchin plays his role well.

This isn’t your family fun out type of movie, it might be one of your snuggle up to your *insert preference here* and enjoy a good crime/drama movie. Whatever the occasion, I have to say that this was a damn good movie, and I suggest you don’t pass this one up.

But as you know, this is just my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.
