And The Teeni Award Goes To…

Tuesday Oct 21, 2008

OK, when I say Teeni, I’m not referring to a Tiny one. OK, that’s all I have to say about that, but what I guess I’m trying to say here is, that I’m a wiener, errr.. I mean winner. :-Wi

Awhile back I participated in a little Avatar War Contest over at The Vaguetarian Tea Room and entered this post into the round and the results post declared me the winner!

Dan tried a feeble counter attack, but it was a futile attempt in my opinion. To which you are entitled to.

I received my prize last Friday. An MP3 Player by SanDisk that’s actually pretty good.

SanDisk Sansa MP3 Player

The color you see here is RED, ahem.. :P (Inside Joke) and it’s will hold up to a GIG of MP3, WMA, and pretty much any other music file. It even has a voice recording option that is very sensitive. I found out just how sensitive it was when on Friday Night, my nephew thought it would be funny to hit the voice recorder when I made a trip to the bathroom to get rid of some used beer.

It picked me up from the other end of the apartment. (I’m not bragging BTW.)

It’s has basic features, but all I need it for is to use it to listen to some tunes while I’m walking to and from work. I even used it last Friday to shoot some video and photo’s over at the park. That’ll be a later post.

I’m very happy with my prize Teeni. Thank you!

Yay! I’m glad you like it Mac! Heck, I had no idea it did all that stuff. You better be careful with that recording thing, especially around your nephew! And the red color is lovely, I might add. ;)

@teeni – Did I mention, that I love to Photoshop? :-Wi

It’s really good. I had to use my own headset though. I have a nice pair of SONY ones that I like. They are the style that loops around your ear and the speaker part just rests in you ear. I don’t like the ones you stick inside your ear.

So the ones it came with will be a backup pair I guess.

Thanks Again!

That’s cool. I might get Jamie one of those for Christmas. Her mp3 player has seen better days. Need to get Chad another (cheap) one since his is pretty much destroyed.

@DragonLady – I’ve always wanted one, but just never knew knew what to spend my money on. I sure the hell wasn’t planning on getting one that costs a few hundred like an iPod. I just want something that will play music. No frills.
