Do I Need A Ticket To Get On The Ark?
Sunday, November 16, 2008 13:01 | 205 viewsIt’s been raining steadily for the past few days. I am wondering if there was a warning to get your Ark tickets for safe passage or not?
I just took a look at my web cam page to see what the river looks like and it seems to be a bit engorged, not as much as I thought though, especially with all this rain we are getting.
It’s amazing that we’re here in the end part of the month of November and we’re still having above seasonal temperatures. Usually it would be a few degrees below 0′ this time of year.
If it keeps up like this with all the rain, I’ll probably be taking a lot of good video of the spring flooding again.
It’s 11am an I’m sitting here with the lights on because it’s so dark and gloomy. It’s supposed to be daytime, but you would think it was dawn because if the lack of daylight getting through the dark clouds.
Everything feels do sticky and damp now too since it’s been raining for so long. I bet this is what the Amazon rain forest people feel like, give or take a bunch of degrees.
I’m thankfull it’s not 15 feet of snow and 30 below zero instead though. ![]()
It would be nice to see SOME sunshine.

Wow. Yeah, I’d say that soil was pretty saturated. I hope you get some sunshine soon too. But hey, you have ME in the meantime. Ah HAHAHAHA! heehee.

@teeni – You are my sun-shine. My only sun-shine. You make me haaapy, when skies are gray! (Yea, I know. That’s pretty bad.)

@witchypoo – It was a bit windy here too, but it dies off, but the rain still poured down.

Not only has my front lawn been drenched (and the back end of my driveway), but now the back lawn is developing a bit of a lake in it. Its ironic how we are nearly floating away and the poor saps in California are literally burning up from the dryness (at least their forests are).

Our cold weather is starting today, finally. Well, you know, as cold as it gets here in the South.
