Do you keep your ticket stubs?

I was sifting through some old photo envelopes and found these.

Concert Tickets

I actually should have more but can’t find them.

Wow! It’s been a long time since I’ve gone to a concert. The Alice Cooper Concert was freggin’ awesome! I think it was the Headpins that was their backup band. I can remember when Darby Mills first walked out on the stage in this skin colored jumpsuit =p~ , and my eyes, and probably every other guys eyes in the stadium, popped out of my head because at first it looked like she was completely naked. This jump suit fitted nice and snug and accentuated every curve, if ya’ know what I mean?

After they finished opening up for Alice Cooper the show really livened up. This was his Nightmare Tour, I think, I went to two of his concerts, so this might actually be his “Raise Your Fist And Yell?” The dates elude me at the moment. In fact I think it actually might be the latter. LOL, I don’t remember a whole lot from that Concert. :p But the Nightmare Tour was a memorable one, with all the magic and the awesome stage show.

That Kim Mitchell concert was one I would like to forget. Not that the music was bad, but more because I was sick as a dog.

I got up that day and had the stomach flue. I had a major case of the Jet Shit and the world was spinning. One of my friends that was going that night also caught the bug. We were two sorry asses. We couldn’t believe how sick we were on the day we’ve been waiting for, for months and months. We were hoping that it would pass by the time it came time to go to the Concert. For my friend it eventually did. But not in my case. I went anyway.

I think it was Glass Tiger that opened up for Kim Mitchell. All I can say is I just wanted Glass Tiger off the stage so the feature attraction would finish up.

I was so dehydrated and sick, I just couldn’t get into the show. I drank water the whole night while all my friends were boozing up and having a great time. I ended up waddling to the side of the stage to watch the show from up top of one of the speakers. I had a nice view of the show. Kim Mitchell actually looked at me and he had that “Poof looking Fucker” look on his face.

The show was great. I just wish I was in better condition to enjoy that one.

I wish I had saved all my concert tickets, they bring back memories, even though some aren’t all that great.

Anybody else save their concert tickets?

One of my housemates from the previous year at Aitken house got arrested trying to steal the grill from Kim Mitchell’s tour bus on that concert! By that time, I had to work to eat as well as go to school, so I was at work during that concert. Alice Cooper was awesome. Did you go to the Honeymoon Suite or the Cult concerts there?

*sigh* I lost my Bryan Adams “Into the Fire” tour concert ticket, ironically, to a fire along with all my other concert tickets, except for a couple of open air concert tickets that I don’t really give a rat’s ass about because I have bad memories associated with both those concerts.

Hank, Jr’s “Hank Live” tour – gone
    Richard Marx ‘88 – gone
Ratt – gone, but not missed. They sucked in ‘89
Van Hagar “ForUnlawfulCarnalKnowledge” tour – gone

May and June 1994 were my last 2 concerts at Little Rock, Arkansas’ Riverfront Amphitheatre. I think Styx was the May headliner. June was Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ted Nugent, and Ian Moore.

None of them ever lived up to Bryan Adams and the Hooters though. Even though Richard Marx waved at me & Brenda and Jennifer caught one of his sweaty towels he threw into the crowd.

I can’t believe I just admitted I paid to watch Richard Marx in concert. Oh, well, I was barely 18 and it was his first tour. 8->

Wow! You’ve seen a lot of great concerts. Good taste in music too.

We’ll keep the Richard Marx thing just between you and I, and the millions of people on the internet. :-Wi
