E-Mail Spam Makes MacBros ANGRY!

OK, I have to admit to the fact that e-mail spam, well, it really pisses me off. BIG TIME!

I can’t fathom the fact that asses like these freaks of unwanted nature, STILL, take this poorly designed tactic of advertising.

With all the anti e-mail spam services, ISP anti-spam software, and the thousands of other ways to combat the shit, these bastards STILL get through!

I myself will never EVER buy ANYTHING from somebody who sent me a spam e-mail . NEVER! Because it will be a piece of SHIT that they will be sending you.

Well, without getting into the great detail of how much I hate spam. Just take a listen to this audio clip of me freaking out at the shitload of spam I get for just one e-mail. (Actually there were 160 but they were all sent to the auto spam department. But a few made it through. 20 to be exact.)

BTW, this was just after I took a break from writing FNFO Theme song….

WARNING!!! EXPLICIT LANGUAGE IS USED IN THIS RECORDING - LISTENING DISCRETION IS ADVISED!

Yes, … I talk to myself a lot. Because I’m the only person that listens. PLus that is just 5 minutes of updating my last e-mail check. 5 minutes and 20 spam!

that is my opinion, and you are entitled to it. :P

FUCK!

@DragonLady - Well, I actually thought that I made that clear in the audio clip. But anyway, SPAM IS FUCKING ANNOYING!

@MrCorey - Gmail doesn’t work with Yahoo Messenger.

@ChrisTheFeral - Watch your fucking language! :-w

How the fuck are you supposed to fucking WATCH your fucking language? :-S

August 30th, 2008 | 11:32 am

@MacBros - Yahoo messenger doesn’t work with much. Are you looking for email notifications? Use the Gmail notifier. It sits in your taskbar, like Outlook or Netscape’s notifier. You’ll always know if you have mail. Well, legit mail, that is. Spam gets sent to the trash.

@MrCorey - A lot of spam actually goes to the spam vault. It’s the odd flood I get once in awhile that I get pissed at. Must be new types of spam till they get noticed by the detector and then get the ‘Do not pass go’ card.

Besides that. I have e-mail address that I have set up with several companies and services. I still need them. Plus I have my hosting e-mails too.

Other Mac Other Mac:

Good Point ChrisTheFeral. You can’t watch your language. But you can go watch that word anywhere on the internet. Are maybe a little self love where you fuck your self. Or just stick to the one word comments like Fuck. That makes as much sence as this post.
Anyway just felt like writing the F- word a few times

@Other Mac - Why the fuck not!? I should re-name this post to The Fuck post! LOL

Don’t it feel good to type FUCK!?

@MacBros
Wait, did you get that amount of spam in yahoo mail?!? yikes! Yahoo mail is great at catching spam for me.

August 30th, 2008 | 11:48 pm

I hate yahhoo mail becouse not good for catching spam. i get about 3 spam in my inbox everyday.. i think msn dose better job of chathing for spam then yahoo does..

August 31st, 2008 | 12:37 am

That’s hilarious because I only get spam messages on gmail and msn, not on yahoo - and I use yahoo even more than I use msn and gmail. What’s weirder is I didn’t even have to give out my gmail email address to get spam :-S

August 31st, 2008 | 5:43 am

Yeah Gmail rules for it, takes care of 99% of the spam. My main account otherwise, I get tons of the stuff.

August 31st, 2008 | 9:21 am

@ChrisTheFeral - It catches all the spam going to my ISP’s provided e-mail, but not so great with the macbrosplace.com e-mails.

August 31st, 2008 | 10:19 am

@theenglishguy - Like I said in an earlier comment. My ISP Provided e-mail (partner with Yahoo) gets filtered pretty good. It’s my website e-mails that aren’t doing so great. The hosts e-mail filter isn’t the best. It’s either so restrictive and nothing comes through (Wordpress notifications get blocked) or it opens the gates of spamville.

August 31st, 2008 | 10:22 am

Redirect it all through Gmail, my friend. It’ll end your grief.

August 31st, 2008 | 3:01 pm

@MrCorey - I’ll have to give it a try then. I didn’t know it was able to do that. Send me an invite.

August 31st, 2008 | 6:25 pm

No invites are necessary any more, but I’ll send you one anyway. :)
