The Echo Project has announced that it will kick off its three day music festival in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Atlanta Concert Music Festival will be held on October 12th through to the 14th and will be a multi staged event on a 350-acres of the scenic Chattahoochee river front property on a privately owned 1250-acre farm just south of metropolitan Atlanta.

To keep the theme of the festival of being echo friendly they will focus on how music and arts events have an effect on the environment by ways of carbon emissions, alternative energy sources, power consumption and creation, and waste management and recycling initiatives.

The event will be powered by alternative energy sources and innovative programs for power consumption and creation. So the concerts will not only promote echo friendly ideas, they will also run on echo friendly power.

The list of performers is big with bands like The Killers, Cypress Hill, Moe, and many more that you can check out on their site for the full listing.

The site even provides travel arrangements and ticket sales.

If you’re looking to get away for a three day fun filled musical vacation, then you should make plans to see some great bands provided by The Echo Project.

Hope this goes away and never comes back. Those of us that live within 10 miles of this event spent three days needing earplugs. Whatever the cause, if this echo group is involved I will not support it in any way. If this is the “green movement” then we are better off with out their help.
