Energy Levels @ 0μm
Tuesday, March 10, 2009 15:48 | 269 viewsI stayed up till about 5am this morning watching Movies and TV shows. For some reason I didn’t feel tired enough to sleep so I just watched the boob tube all night not realizing how late it was getting.
So since I didn’t go to bed till after 5am, I didn’t get up out of bed till 12pm. I got my coffee but it just doesn’t seem to be helping. I’m still feeling a bit groggy. Not in a sense of being sleepy, but rather not having the energy to do anything.
A quick shower will probably help, but I have absolutely no motivational energy to do even that! With the way I feel right now, I could probably sit on the futon and stare at the walls and do absolutely nothing all day and I wouldn’t feel the least bit bored. I bet I could actually watch grass grow right now. Provided there weren’t several feet of snow on the ground right now.
It’s actually nice and sunny outside right now and it’s hovering above the freezing mark at 5°C at the moment. Some fresh air could probably help too, but that would require energy, somthing I have none of at the moment.
I have to go next door to pick up a few things at the grocery store and even that seems to be something I don’t want to do.
Talk about a bad case of burn out. I have to manage to drag my ass into the shower to help get out of this mood. Just thinking about it makes me yawn and want to just lay down and take a nap.
I hate feeling like this.
FYI: 0μm means 0 microns
I still hate my job

Me too. I’m constantly exhausted these days. But I can’t force myself to sleep early enough. I’d rather read or watch TV.

@DragonLady – I believe one would have to actually have energy in order to have it actually stolen me thinks.
@Jason – It’s probably that seasonal thing. At least that’s what I think is the problem here. Winter blahs.
