Enjoying the Sun

I have been enjoying the weather that we here in Fredericton NB have been getting.
Today it hit the 22°C (71.6°F) mark and I sat out on the lawn chair pretty much the whole day watching the world go amongst it’s daily rituals.
Buddy and Brain stayed in the windows, which I had open all day, and watched all the birds and squirrels run around the lawn while soaking up the sun rays.
There seems to be one problem though. Folks that like to take shortcuts through the front door exit and cut in front of my windows. There is a hand rail that leads right out to the driveway to keep people from cutting through in front of the apartment windows, but they squeeze through the opening between the hedges and walk right by my open windows. Being on the bottom floor of the apartment and having people gawk in is really pissing me off.
I’m going to make a phone call to the super to rig up something to keep the lazy asses from walking back and forth past my windows and gawking in every time they do. I mean, come on! Give a guy some privacy, ya’ know? I would like to have my windows open to let some sunshine in and not have to worry about gawkers walking by looking in all the time.
So anyway, besides the peeping Toms, the weather is starting to feel like it is here to stay. Sorry Corey, but I think we’re safe now, don’t you. I don’t think the weather will get scared away now..
Pretty soon, we’ll be complaining about the heat next. ![]()

YAY for the warm weather, finally! Oh, I’d definitely talk to your super about about rigging something up. I could never stand having people walk by that close to my windows. Grrr!

I suggest at least razor-wire (not the sissy barb-wire stuff) — keeps the cons in maximum security; should keep the goofs away from you windows.

teeni, I’ll be talking to them on Monday. I have a problem with kids playing out in the hallways also, so two birds ya’ know?
Larry, I was actually thinking, “Land Mines.” but razor wire could work to, and less noisy. Somebody screaming from razor cuts would be a lot quieter than the explosions from the land mines.

You need something like an IR-triggered attack dog noise. I bet that’ll make ‘em use the handrail

theenglishguy, yea, but I still think that land mines would be better, and more fun.
