    Sorry buddy :(

Maybe you should look down another road. Maybe someone’s trying to tell you that call centers aren’t your calling. You’re talented in so many ways. Use one of your gifts to strike a path in a new direction!

Hey Mac, seems as though with being out of a job you’re having a cash flow problem right now as could be expected. Have you thought about just finding any kind of job, such as fast food or whatever, until you find the perfect job you’re looking for? At least that would bring you some cash in for bills and such until you can land that job. Just a suggestion. Good luck!

    JJ, Dammit is right! :-s

Skye, you may be right, but getting that job to exploit my gifts is the problem.

    Karen, Oh I have a few resumes in the supermarket departments. LOL. Maybe I’m over qualified for them and that’s why I haven’t heard a word from them. 8-}
I have to stay away from fast food restaurants, or any Kitchen job. I had a great job as a chef for over 11 years, but the health was in jeopardy, and I was forced to leave the food industry. If you or anybody you know worked/s in a kitchen for a long period of time, they’ll know what I’m talking about when I say, air quality in kitchens isn’t that great, and if you have respiratory problems, it can very hard to work in that environment. Doctor told me, find another profession, or die.

I have to agree with Skye here. When it comes down to paying the bills dude, ya gotta suck it up and take anything you can get your hands on. flipping burgers, shoveling ditches…i’ve done it all myself. Luck isn’t something that just happens, you make your own luck.
You start working at whatever you can get, and work your way into something else.
they are always looking for people to unload trucks at the sobey’ warehouse. 9 bucks an hr. ain’t great but its a start. lots of places lookin for people in oromocto. may be 7-9 bucks an hr, but its either that or welfare.

Uhh Yeah, like I stated to karen, working the 11 years at the restaurant really screwed up my health, so kitchen work is not an option, and loading trucks is a bad idea, because they would fire me for sure. Strainious work causes asmtha attacks for me. I did the Sobeys thing before and I had to quit because of it.

I already have a few places I'm applying to on Tuesday though.

OHHH okay. So you need a job not working with food, not physically demanding, where you dont work with other people that would wear excessive amounts of cologne, there is an opportunity for advancement, and makin aight money…
i go back to work on the 3rd. you go back for me, becasue you need a government job.

i’ll keep my eye open for ya, but we already have three people that do web development, and design.

i hate to beat a dead horse, but they are still looking for people on night shift at my other job.. full time, you could make 600 bucks or more a week in your pocket during the summer. 400-500 during the winter. and getting to and from work is cheap. also meets all of your other criteria.

    HA! I would get lost! I don’t know my way around town. Heck, I even forget the damn street I live on half the time. LOL 8-}

yeah it takes a while to get used to it, but once you do, its cake. if there is a place you dont know, the dispatcher does.
christ when i started when i was 19, the dispatcher wanted me to come back to the office and book off. why? becasue i didn’t even know how to get to the main gate of the base! haha.

now i know the base, and oromocto like my own bedroom. and i stopped driving for 8 years.

when you get your town licence they have town maps there as well. and when you have a fare, they know where they are going. they can tell ya. :”>

anyways, its there for ya. and nothing says its forever.

I know we’re not technically allowed to go off topic, but can you tell me, did your part of the world suddenly gain another day that I’m not aware of? How can it only be 8 hours until 2007 there when it’s still 52 hours away for me?

  13. Uhh Yeah Uhh Yeah says:

    December 29th, 2006 at 5:13 pm

where do you see that its only 8 hours till 2007? the thing at the top of the page says 2 days, 6 hours… ;)

Well, neither one of you seemed to have turned out too bad, so you couldn’t have been that bad of an influence.

If I treat to pizza, will you go out and pick it up? I’ve been in my pj’s all day, because i’ve been sick and don’t feel like making myself presentable just to pick up food. I’ll throw in a couple extra bux for ya :d

  19. MacBros MacBros says:

    December 29th, 2006 at 7:43 pm

    LOL @ Skye!

Can you send a map, car (with keys and gas) and cash to pay for Pizza?

Get well soon, cause’ your mind is turning to jelly I think.
Maybe Uhh Yeah will drive? I think he’ll know his way to your state better than I can.

  24. skye skye says:

John, dear, you just outted me. That other girl you know lives in that town.

Sorry, Uhh Yeah, don’t know Tony personally, but I used to know someone who could’ve been related to him, and I was so naive at the time that I bet against his horse in a race, while sitting in his box, and won $200. I’m lucky I’ve lived as long as I have :)

Why do you say that tojm?

From my interview it sounded like a great place to work.
All I really cared about was the fact that there is no selling involved and you’re not pressured into trying to fuck a caller over to get a lousy sale.

After working at that fucken hell hole puss pool called Nucomm, it couldn’t be that bad. That’s an experience I never want to have to endure ever again.

I know two people that work there and they say they like it at Accenture.
