Good News Everyone! – Well, Sorta’
Thursday, June 18, 2009 3:21 | 63 viewsThe part of the company I work in has been dwindling in staff because they are either quitting or being fired. Before today rumor had it that the company wasn’t going to hire any more agents meaning that I would NEVER get a better work schedule because the scheduling was based on seniority. If there wasn’t going to be any replacements, my seniority would never change either.
Well news received today had me jumping for joy. Well not really that extreme, but it gives me a good reason to use this neat flash animation anyway. 
The news was that there will be two new classes being trained to do the job I do next month, so that will mean day shifts for me. At least that’s what should happen anyway. But I’ll have to see it to believe it before I get my hopes up.
It was news that just came out of the blue too.
All I care about is getting days shifts, and having better days off. I don’t really give a shit what days I get off, but just as long as they are together and not split apart like mine are now (Thursday and Sunday).
So to celebrate the somewhat good news, lets sit back and enjoy watching the shadowman jump for joy.

Shadowman is getting tired of jumping and is starting to grumble about his boss, because he hasn’t given him his break as required by law. In fact, he’s thinking of starting a union or hiring a lawyer
I hope you really do get a better shift out of this. Do they normally put newbies on night shift right away, or do they need to be supervised during the day for awhile first?

@skye – Newbies do get the late shifts, and hopefully I do get a better shift too.
Shadowman does get his breaks when nobody is looking. So you should actually feel bad because you stayed and watched him for that long.
It’s in his contract that he must perform when there are visits to the site. He gets his breaks when nobody is looking.
@MrCorey – LOL! Well, I already said it. A monkey can do this job. It’s just a 5 day training session. The real job is dealing with the assholes calling in from F*d*.
@Arka – Thanks, but I should mention I was one step from removing your link because you don’t allow for comments on your blog spot blog and is more commercial than a blog that most would consider a blog, but the content interested me, so this is your free pass.
A more detailed comment about the actual post wouldn’t have had me check either btw.
@Uhh Yeah – LOL. Actually it will still be a One day, the other day would be recover day.
