I hope the shakedown ends up making it a better place to work. It’s hard to try and take your job seriously when they allow that kind of crap to continue. Sad.

@theenglishguy - I couldn't care what a person does on their own time. But to have to sit beside somebody that reeks of pot and having eyes at you as if it's coming from you is not what I would want to happen. Also, if you don't want to take your job serious, quit and don't jeperdize the jobs of people who do. The Boss said they were bringing the site down and could end up in lost work due to poor stats.

They’ll have security cameras in there also.

All I heard after that big speech was all the pot heads whining outside about not being able to smoke up at work anymore. “Man, that fucking sucks man. Who the fuck do they fucking think they are? I’m going to fucking quit as soon as I find another fucking job. Fucking asshole.”

That’s how they actually talk too. But I say, “Good luck finding that job that lets you get stoned at work!” Aside from some sort of Scientific Drug Testing company that would use you as a guinea pig, but mad sure you signed a waiver clearing them of any wrong doing if you should become a vegetable, or dead.

I say let them leave. The less juveniles the better. Especially when they’re planning on hiring another wave of about 600 people since the site I’m at is supposedly #1 site in the company.

Know anybody who want’s to make $11/hour with full benefits doing a very simple job? Tell them I sent them, so I can make some extra $$ for the referral.
