Happy Halloween, I Hope!

Monday Oct 31, 2005

I live next to the Fire departement, and thankfully the police departement too and they’ve been busy. This is the night most think, little goules and ghostes come knocking on their door.
Well I’ve been sittin here and seen just 4 good costumes!
I’m told thats a difference of 40 – 50 kids….
What made the difference from 40-50 to next to nothing?.
Fear, fear is what it was… Thank you BUSH! You ruined Halloween for the world with your fear mongering!
(The National )
The National Night – Light makes you feel good…… Heck… who else can dream………………………………………………… Peace!
Edit: There was supposed to be an article here but for some reason it’s not, or this post would make more sence. And I can’t find it again either.
Oh, well.

Did you notice that the fire trucks went constantly? All to surrounding towns! Not a single call in Oromocto, but all the surrounding towns are being burnt down, it seems…

[...] So I took Caleb and Abby trick or treating and they didn’t have to trick anyone That’s a good thing because they’d get in trouble with their daddy for being so mean. This year, we actually went to our neighbors for the first time. There’s a subdivision around the corner that we’ve never gone to, but this year we decided to go. What a good haul for such a small street! The people were giving out lots of chips and a few even threw in cans (and one person, bottle) of pop (soda, for my cousins who fly the “Stars and Stripes”).I noticed that few children were out this year. Perhaps what John has read is true. Maybe all this scary stuff about terrorists is causing people to keep their children home. Or, perhaps since it a school night, some parents kept their kids home to do homework (I noticed that Caleb’s teacher piled it on, regardless of the activities of the evening). All in all, a good time was had by all. It was nice that the temperature was actually above freezing this year – a balmy 13°C. That was a nice change. [...]
