Have E-mail Spam make you money!

I was watching a podcast video with Leo Laporte as a guest host and he had mentioned a company that you can use to have filter your e-mail and make it so spammers/advertisers will have to pay you in order to send you their advertisement.
You set your own fees too!
If you're interested in checking this service out, then head on over to Boxbe, and get an account set up for free. You can even import all your addresses you have from the most popular e-mail services or applications.
What Boxbe is, is actually just an e-mail forwarding service. The Boxbe public forwarding address lets you be reachable yet lets you maintain your privacy. Use it when you need to provide an email address or want to make yours public.
Senders who are not pre-approved must either take a short test or pay a small fee to reach you. When Boxbe collects a fee, they share with you an amount you specify. You can donate the funds you collect to a charity of your choice, or keep them for your own use. I chose to keep the cash. ![]()
So if you want to contact me, you should use my new e-mail address: macbros@boxbe.com
I tested the service with an unapproved e-mail address and got this back in less than a second (FAST SERVICE!):
Hello spammer@spamcenter.com,
The email you sent to macbros@boxbe.com regarding "Boxbe Test" is being held undelivered because your email address (spammer@spamcenter.com) is not pre-approved for access.
To deliver your message, you can:
- Take a test (a simple test to weed out unwanted automated senders)
- Pay a fee of USD $0.15 (the bulk goes to macbros@boxbe.com)
If you take the test or pay for delivery, macbros@boxbe.com will be able to approve you for next time and optionally refund any payment.
What is Boxbe?
Boxbe is a service for your inbox that puts you in control. Boxbe helps you get the messages from people you want to hear from, and lets you screen messages from others with a price or test.
If you take the test:

After your message is delivered, the recipient will have the opportunity to approve you for future messages (so you won't get this test again).
And if you Pay:

WOW! going to check that out – my spam e-mail has been increasing like crazy — thanks for the tip.
Well it won’t help with an existing e-mail address as the spammers already have that one in their slim book.
Unless you can delete that e-mail.
This is good for any future reasons you may need to give out an e-mail address to anybody/thing.
Like win a free Flatscreen TV! just give us your e-mail!
There’s also an option to submit information about yourself and have advertisers know what you’re into and they’ll pay you to read an e-mail.
Sounds just lovely, but I still prefer to manage my own email, rather than have somebody with a “EULA subject to change” reading my mail. Its bad enough that I still deal with Google and, occasionally, Yahoo! You can email me at me@me!
