Here’s some more buzz on data backup.

I’ve experienced a hard drive crash first hand, and I have to say it’s the most disappointing thing to happen when you loose all them digital photos, website designs, music files, personal documents, and precious videos of family events.

Ever since that miserable day, I have been backing up everything, and I mean EVERYTHING! I constantly hear that voice saying, “Back up! Back up! Back up!”

Thing is it’s getting to the point that I have all these DVD-R’s full of stuff and more than likely have the same files copied to them several times. I’m starting to loose track of what is on what DVD Disk. I often just completely remove certain files that I don’t use very often so I just copy them to DVD to save hard drive space. Yes a 250 GB Hard drive can get full of junk if you don’t file stuff away. But I’m finding myself shuffling DVD’s to find a particular file that I need for a project.
