Friday, September 7, 2007 16:08 | 161 viewsI’ve had a few comments about my place being a bit bland when it comes to wall art or just anything that could take the dullness of the white walls down. They keep saying that I need something on them to decorate them up a bit so the place isn’t all just nothing but white walls. They say it feels like a Hospital or something when they drop by.
Well I guess I lack in the wall decor department and my walls lack the elegant wall hangings that I guess I should be hanging up on my walls.
I really don’t have a whole lot of things to put on my walls because I just never thought of it I guess. I have part my collection of swords on one wall and my Oil paintings on another, but that still leaves a lot of walls bare I guess, and that is what I am getting the comments on.
I have always been interested in getting some wall art, because I really just like art a lot, being an armature artist myself. But finding the wall art that I really like is hard to come by. I am not really into that whole antique art or the retro modern art stuff either. In my opinion, art should be something you can look at without having to tilt your head sideways to try and get it.
What kind of decorative wall decor would you expect to see on a Bachelors apartment walls? A Straight Male Bachelor (And single) that is. 
I really didn’t think too much about adding anything to the walls in this place until a few friends popped by and made similar comments. I didn’t really realize I was so bad and lacked any decorative skills. I have always thought I had an eye for taste, but it has probably been out of whack for awhile because I have been so busy lately. I just need to get some things caught up and get some extra ME time, and then maybe I’ll notice the world around me huh?
