This is a conversation that took place at work on a break one night:
It was a clear night and it slowed down enough that a group of us decided to go out the back door to get some fresh air. OK, well I decided to get some fresh air and the other two guys decided they needed a cigarette break. But anyway, one conversation led to another….
To keep the real names of all the people in this story private I’ve replaced them with Guy 1, Amusement, and Me. Me, being me, amusement being the empty helmet, and Guy 1 another co-worker from the dining room.
ME: Clear night huh? Nice to actually see the stars once in awhile, and OH look, it’s a full moon! Arrrrrooooooooo!
All Three Guys: Aaaaarrroooooooooooo!
GUY 1: Hey John, Do you know where the Big Dipper is?
ME: Yea, it’s right there. *Pointing to it*
AMUSEMENT: Noooo. That’s not iiiit. The big dipper is right there. *Pointing at the Little Dipper*
ME: HUH!? Are you serious!?
AMUSEMENT: Well, yea. That’s the Big Dipper right there. *Again. Pointing at the Little Dipper.*
ME: OMG? Don’t you think its odd then that they would name that constellation *Pointing to Little Dipper*, which is smaller than that constellation *Pointing to Big Dipper*, the Big Dipper?
But that wasn’t the funniest part of this conversation. What took place next in the conversation was the best part of all.
GUY 1: *Laughing Hysterically*
AMUSEMENT: Nooooo. What the heck are you talking about. Look. Right here *He starts walking in the direction of the Little Dipper while pointing at it* That is the Big Dipper.
Guy 1: *Chuckling* Yup, That’s right AMUSEMENT, walk closer.
ME: *Bursting out laughing* Where? Can you get a little closer so I can see what stars your pointing at?
AMUSEMENT: OK, *Takes a few steps more in the direction of the Little Dipper* Look. Right here.
By this time, Guy 1 and Myself are laughing so hard. Tears are coming from our eyes and AMUSEMENT just gives up and goes back inside.
Yes They walk amongst us!

HAHAHAHA! So, my co-worker shared a blond moment with us this week. The other day she was thinking how nice a day it was and thought “Oh, and it’s a full sun too.”
