Identity Theft

Life Lock

There seems to be a growing trend with folks having their identity stolen these days. I keep seeing the commercials on TV warning the viewers about the possibilities of having your identity stolen.

I can remember when I was working in the call center back in the days of despair, and when I was to get the customers Social Security Number for either ID Verification or whatever, they were very hesitant or scared to do so over the phone. Who could blame them these days?

The biggest group of victims to these crimes I believe are Seniors. It seems that whenever I hear, on the news, about somebody having their identity stolen, it’s usually a Senior Citizen. The scum out there seem to prefer to prey on the innocent Seniors.

Having lifelock would probably be the best thing to have when it comes to protecting the identity of a Senior. For a small monthly fee, you can rest assured that your folks aren’t going to get scammed by some freeloading scum that is trying to take them for everything they have.

Lifelock will take care of all them behind the scenes things that most folks would never think about. Things like making sure you’re off all them Pre-Approved credit card forms and other junk mail that can have your information hijacked. That’s just one example, but there’s more that can be done to keep you protected.

Everybody is at possible risk, not just the Seniors. So if you are looking for Identity Protection, then check out lifelock.

This is just my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.

You know teeni, I do read your blog! But I have yet to come up with anything witty to say for a comment. Just hang in there and I’ll crack something open and you’ll bust a gut. :p

I saw the op to write about this as I have experience with American customers that have had to deal with it, so I thought the info might prove useful.

Thanks for fixing my link to look better. I’m so flattered that you read my blog! And I’m glad you posted about this too – it’s always good to get more people making others aware of it and it’s nice that you are looking out for your American neighbors too. :)
