I know I plugged this one before already, but I actually have another opportunity to write about it and have an additional story to go along with it.

A co-worker at work is practically married to his iPhone. No mater what could be going on at any given moment, if you see him you can bet your bottom dollar that he’ll be glaring into his iPhone either texting, watching a video, or going through his play list.

There just the other day he was outside listening to some music on his iPhone and he was using the speakers because he said he forgot his headset at home. I made a comment about how crappy the sound that was coming from the iPhone was and he agreed. He also mentioned that the thing he got for it at home for playing through the sphere speakers that come from Apple aren’t any better.

I mentioned to him about the Yamaha PDX-60 review I did awhile back and told him that the thing sounds to be pretty good. I know Yamaha devices, as I’ve used numerous electronics from Yamaha and never had any disappointments from any of them, so this audio system should be something he would be interested in.

When I mentioned the Yamaha PDX-60 had a wireless feature he was hooked and he plans on getting one as soon as payday arrives. The wireless feature is actually an ingenious idea in my opinion, to which you are entitled to. He mentioned that it would be great for playing his music and having the iPhone as a remote, and playing his iPhone games through the speaker system without any cords is awesome.

If you know anybody that is in love with either their iPhone or iPod, then this might be something to get for a gift this Christmas. I’m pretty sure they’ll love it judging by the reaction I got from my co-worker when I told him about it.
