It’s Getting Lonely In Here

There used to be a time that I was unable to keep up with my blogging buddies out there and usually found myself behind in the times, but as of late, things on the web seems to be pretty quiet.
It’s starting to get a bit lonely in here all by myself. Seems that everybody has taken a hiatus from the inter-webs. Normally this would be the way it is when everybody is outdoors enjoying the nice weather, but it’s still ball snapping cold out, so that can’t be it.
Is it the whole economy thing? Is it that nothing interesting is going on in anybodies lives? Is blogging becoming a thing of the past, or is it just my usual blogging buddies getting tired of the whole blogging world?
The Comments here have been a bit skimpy lately also. The Top 10 Commenters List for the past 30 Days has been dwindling too. Dragon Lady, Teeni, and MrCorey are still fighting for the top, or being under, depending on their/his preference. 
But even their writing has dwindles down to next to nothing, OK, not next to nothing, but they have certainly slowed down compared to what they used to write. What gives guys/Gals?
Butch at 123Beta is keeping up with his usual FireFox goodies and political views, I can usually expect to see something from him on my Google Reader.
Chris is found mostly on Twitter now, and amongst other things, but he hardly updates his blog either. He’s got a lot on his plate so that’s understandable.
John Raul is off again and on again blogging. Seems he gets a burst of motivation and then drops dead for a bit. That’s probably mostly because when he does blog about something it involves getting out of the house and doing something, maybe we should follow by example.
Jeremy Steel hasn’t written anything since the start of January, I wonder if he’s alright?
Going down my blog roll still, I notice a few that don’t even exist. Opal, Larry, and Skye. Well Sky is actually doing her thing on Flickr now, you should check her out there on her SkyImages Flickr Account. She has a new calling and she does a very good job at it too. Still don’t know what happened to Opal and Larry though.
Richard is keeping up with me, he usually has something to say on his blog, and also got a bite from the shutter bug on Flickr.
Diane and Mel have been under the radar, but Diane has been trying to keep us updated with what is going on despite her fight with cancer, she still keeps her following with the occasional post. Everybody is rooting for her.
RT Cunningham is actually keeping a steady flow of posts, so at least there will be something to read from him while I’m on a break at work. I usually find myself reading something from there on my Blackberry Google Reader. Sometime it can get a little commercial, but there is usually something to balance it out.
Now then there’s Jason. For those who are easily offended this is the place to get your dose of what’s offending. If you thought my potty mouth was bad, then you’re in for a treat here. If I want to share something completely disgusting, I’ll usually send the link of what I saw to him and let him post it. Because that’s just the kind of guy I am I guess.
OK, so that was my little Linkback post to all the places I have on my blog roll that have been slipping on their posting, now it’s up to them to give the folks following the links something to read up on.

Hopefully my writing will start picking up again this weekend. My final is due tomorrow so I won’t have any homework to worry about for a couple of weeks. On the other hand, it is balls-to-the-wall busy at work, and I’m pretty much not getting on the computer at all at home unless I have to. Oh, and there’s NWN2 also…

I’m still reading blogs via Google Reader (which is why I don’t comment as often as I used to – I like to stay in my reader window). I’m definitely posting less these days. Lots going on with work, so I dare not get caught writing about vaginas and puke or whatever else when I should be busily working.

Yea, getting caught writing about vaginas and puke at work wouldn’t be a good thing. But it sure would be a hella’ funny!
Just stopped in to say hi and to let you know I didn’t drop off the west side of the country — just having a bit of a stand off with my hosting company — and taking a bit of a break from the blog world too.
BTW – it snowed this week in Vancouver, what’s up with that?

Snow in Vancouver huh? Well, you better start saving it up for the Olympics while you can.
