It’s the most wonderful time of the year?

I have to be honest. I really can’t wait for this holiday season to get over with. It’s too damn commercial now and it’s not any fun anymore IMO.
I just went next door and spent 40 mins trying to buy 3 things. It was a nightmare there. Holiday Rush is more like Holiday scam, over inflate, and price gouge, while creating all this commercial hype. I wrote another post called Holiday Rush that you might like to read too.
This might sound a little like Scrooge, but it’s probably because of the way a lot of people are treating others these past few weeks. Total disrespect.
Everybody is so damn eager to buy some commercialized hype that they are forgetting what the Christmas Holiday is actually all about.
Like I say in my Holiday Rush post, “People need to stop and take a really good look at themselves and see just how rude and stupid they’re being.”
*sigh* Sad thing is, I need to go back and pick up some bread, milk, eggs, and four other items. The three things earlier took me 40 minutes to get.
God help me!
I wrote a post on this crap too. And today again a person cut me off as I was looking at something in the store. In fact, it was the person working at the store who wanted to get inside a glass case to retrieve something for another customer. But instead of saying “excuse me,” she just ran right in between me and the case I was looking at. So I just decided they didn’t need my business that much and left. I don’t honestly believe that the customer is always right because hey they can be jerks too, but in this case, the customer - me, was right in thinking I could have been treated a little less rudely.
It’s so commercial it’s retarded…I even have my girlfriend…who is non materialistic/needy as they get say I better get them something good…X-mas has turned into crap as far as gifts/depression go cause some people can’t do it financially. It deserves to be a happy time as I’m sure it was intended.

Count your blessing you don’t live in Vancouver! I hate to drive anywhere at this time of the year because drivers are even more stupid than usual. I was in Future Shop the other day and turned around and walked right back out — inflated prices, too many people, and shark-like staff. Came home and had a drink instead which was way more satisfying than shopping.
people are ignorant every day of the year, not just around the holidays. you just notice it more during the holidays because… well there are more people around.
People stop right in the middle of roads,aisles, doorways, parking lots, and any other place where they can be the most obtrusive that they can, just becasue they are ignorant of thier surroundings. They dont have any consideration for people around them, because they are in thier own world. In thier world everything revolves around them.
That is where well placed swearing and wagging the middle finger come into play.
Instead of saying excuse me Miss could i get by you?” and getting the enevitable eye roll

“Could you move your cookie dough inflated ass out of my way you smelly cow?” and if she looks at you in horror stick you middle finger up and say “Yeah im talking to you bitch. get the fuck outta my way,or i’m gonna run over your fat ass.”
might teach them a lasson, and it will make the other 40 people that were trying to get around her a lot happier that she got what was coming to her.

Larry, Vancouver sounds the same as New Brunswick, Even though you’re on the other side of the country, Canadians can be rude too no matter where they are.
