I’ve been a beta tester for Joost for the past 2 and a half weeks now and although I have yet to find any channels that I would like, the concept is pretty smart.
There are a shit load of sports stations, news stations, and a bunch of shows that probably couldn’t get picked up by anybody so ended up here. Oh and the Saturday Morning Station for you cartoon freaks.
I’ve been watching a lot of the comedy shows, but even some of them are dry, but the better ones seem to balance it out.
There’s a lot of shorts, so if you just want to kill a bit of time they help a bit. For example I’ll pop Joost on while taking a break from EZBartell.com and reading stuff, or even when I want to grab a bite to eat. I also have it playing while I’m blogging also.
As far as I can tell, most or all the shows are pre-recorded so you can watch what you want when you want.
The great thing is, is I get to invite whoever is interested in becoming a beta tester.
So if you want to take a shot out at seeing how this all works, just make a comment and I’ll use the e-mails you have registered on my blog. So make sure you register on the blog and be sure you have the correct e-mail address in there.
How smooth does it run you might be thinking. It’s smooth, and the quality is pretty damn impressive. I hope they get a lot more channels that are a bit more entertaining, like maybe some SI-Fi ones.
There only seems to be two sponsors for the service and them being T-Mobile and Eclipse I think, the commercials pop up once in a while, but you won’t see any more than one in a row, so that’s always good.
Well, I’ve said enough I think, if you want in, just let me know.

Hmm, I think that would be cool to beta test. Especially if the sports channels have the sort of stuff the hubby likes to watch.
I’m all out of invite tokens at the moment. So when I get more it’ll be first come first serve. DL 1st so far. I thought I had some tokens to use up, but they’re not there now.
Don’t worry, I’ll get more.
You can also apply at the website, so if I don’t get a token before you get accepted at least you have two ways on getting in.
I saw the application on the site, but I thought I would try the invite route first.
