LOST

Thursday Mar 30, 2006

LOST Well holy snappin’ arsholes! Anybody else out there besides me getting glued more and more to the TV with every episode of LOST? Last nights ‘Lockdown’ episode was even more captivating.

A horrific plane crash leaves 48 passengers alive, and stranded on a remote island in the South Pacific. The survivors include doctor Jack, now freed prisoner Kate, one hit wonder rock star Charlie, Iraqi military vet Sayid, and a mysterious man named Locke. For a while their goal is simple survival, but they soon realize that it was far more than mere chance that brought them together, and each of them has a purpose that will help them unlock the island’s secrets.

Last night I was constantly going, “WTF? WTF? WTF?” They find the guy in the cellar’s balloon (WTF?), Locke hears something on the speakers (WTF?), there’s a weird countdown that’s not the usual timer one (WTF?), Locke sees a map of some sort that’s lighten up by a blacklight that comes on for a moment during the blackout (WTF?) then at the end there is this food drop found in the jungle outside of the hatch (WTF?)
Damn this show is good! They know how to get you to tune in for the following week to by ending show with one of them WTF moments.
They should make this show a two hour long show instead of an hour, because once you get all them commercials in there the show is like 35 minutes long without them. The show is so popular that every advertising company wants to get their ads in there, souring the show.

Well I need to finish getting ready for work, unngh…. But have something to look forward to when I get home. Survivor!

I gave up on Lost by the end of the first season. Too many WTF moments made me not want to bother. I liked Sawyer(?). But when they took the kid from the life raft that jumped the shark for me. I was watching Desperate Housewives that first season too but they also went way over the top. This year I like Ghost Whisperer but I often forget to watch it.

Laura, well well wel… A watcher to a point. So that meant you WERE interested to a point. If you liked a charcter you can bet they’ll be back, because that’s what the show does to you. It’ll screw your mind up.
I like the show just because, it’s unpredictable.

So, my friend Laura has found her way over to you, eh? Be VERY careful, Mac. She knows all sorts of witchery :d8-x

I just got on the Lost bandwagon in the past month or so. I decided to give it a shot and rented the first dvd from Season One. I wasn’t hooked immediately, but with each episode, you can’t help but want to learn more about each of the characters. I’m not so much into the mystery of the island and the reason for the shipwreck, as I am on seeing how their time on the island is changing each individual. I love the flashbacks!

I didn’t read your full post, because I’m trying to get caught up before I start watching it on Wednesday evenings, and don’t want mess up any surprises .
