This band, who I cannot say, due to client confidentiality, they are had a bass player that was under the weather. Flue I understand. They got a hold of me through an old college of mine through the local Music Store here in town.
What better place to find a fill in than the local Music Shop right?
I did this before but this is the first for a Bass Guitar. I’m NOT a Bass Guitarist. I’ve just played around with one for awhile only to learn the basics.
Well that was enough apparently. Because there I was. Slapping the Bass Strings away on a Thursday night!
I Normally do keyboarding shit but this was just as much fun.
I get a kick out of how I bob my head all the time. LOL. I didn’t realize it till I saw this video, which was e-mailed to me by somebody who wishes to remain anonymous. It was a co-worker that was there when they were supposed to be out sick for the day, LOL So I’ll respect their wishes.
This is the First video of me actually capturing me jamming away. EVER! I know you don’t see much of me, but, that’s just the way I like it! LOL
Maybe one of these days I’ll Hire somebody to video me. (Nope. That was a LIE!)
I keep this on the down low because I rather not have people I know, watching. I just feel more comfortable that way then knowing that I know somebody I know is out there.
This is the 5th show I’ve done in the past 4 years, so it’s not like its common. And when I get the request, it’s done on the fly and in a couple of days. So not a whole lot of time to really tell the world, let along learn the set and tunes.

I was fucking up like crazy. I had these pieces of paper on the monitor (Speaker facing me) with the chords to each of the songs. It was Basic Bass playing and nothing fancy at all.
I had fun though. I don’t think I’ll offer to fill in on Bass again, if you didn’t hear the fuck ups I sure did and it’s embarrassing.
Put $150 in my pocket! And I did have fun too.
