Make Money Blogging
Wednesday, April 18, 2007 13:33 | 193 viewsYou probably have noticed by now that I’ve posted a few posts with the Category Reviews and usually put a line in the top or bottom that says it’s a sponsored ad or it’s also a paid post or something.
Sometime I’ll try and work in a link that would make around $5 or $6 by just placing that link.
The paid posts are ones I get to choose and I try to write something that might actually interest a reader, without trying to sound like I’m selling out or anything.
But this doesn’t mean I’m going to go off the track and stop posting the usual garbage I’ve always done in the past. I’ll still be rambling, complaining, ranting, joking, and I’ll also continue to amuse you. This is still my outlet to the world by the way. I just want to make a few extra bucks doing it.
So if this makes me a sell out? Then I’m a sell out then. A Sell out that’s gonna’ eat.
The only reason I am doing this is because the potential to make some serious money from these services is completely off the chart. There is some serious cash to be made, and I would be a fool to pass up on the opportunity. Anybody else would be nuts to pass on the opportunity for that matter.
As a matter of fact, if anybody out there has a PR site with at least 5 -7 you could be making as much as $500 just for writing a 200 word post. That’s $500 for 10 minutes of your time!
So I’m going to throw out a couple of plugs to the sites I’m using, plus a few words about them, for those interested in joining in on this adventure.
| First off we’ll have a look at the all to familiar AdSense Service provided by Google.
We’ve seen them all before. They’re pretty much on everybody’s site. I’ve heard that there are folks that actually make a living from AdSense ads on their sites. I say sites in the plural. Because they have many more sites that they author. And I’m not talking about the splogger scum suckers either. I’m talking about legitimate Authors and their Sites. Unfortunately for me, I just run the two sites and I’m lucky to see more than .25¢ a day. But this is a good start for most. I figure by years end it will pay for another year of Hosting for the site. |

Smorty is pretty much new to the scene. Get paid for blogging. Write your opinion about peoples products, services and websites on your blog. Get paid weekly.. Yes weekly! But you’ll need a PayPal Account in order to sign up.
Smorty has a unique blogger ranking system. Smorty’s ranking of a Blog is created by combining the following factors 1) Googles PageRank, 2) Alexa Rankings, 3) Return rate of given tasks 4) Approval/Decline ratio of completed tasks and 5) Number of completed tasks. If you have a higher Smorty ranking, you are more likely to receive more campaign offers and more higher priced campaigns. The ads are based on those rankings or a variations of them. So far all I have been getting is $6 per post, probably due to the fact that my PR is 0 at the moment. So if your PR is higher, so will your payout. |

| PayPerPost is by far my favorite so far. I highly recommend you get this one first! Like Smorty it also uses the same type of ranking system to determine what ads you qualify for and the ones you can choose from. This service is also a community of sorts. You can view what others are coining in, there’s a blog that keeps you up to date and lets you know about upcoming campaigns that will pay out big time. The site also lets the users make suggestions to what they would like to see added to the site, and I’ve seen a lot of them requests get implemented pretty fast. Payout per post run around $5 to $500 depending on your ranking with Google, Alexa, and Technorati. You can actually see these big paying ads and see what you need to have in order to use them. So far my posts have paid between $5 and $12 per post and that’s with a PR of 0 still! If you’re ranking are higher, so will your payout. |

Could these services be a result from all of us bloggers complaining about comment spam? Do you think that they finally realize the potential of purchasing an ad link or post might have a better chance at actually showing results?
I know that the comment spam never reaches my readers, so they’re wasting their time that way.
At least this way I can get a little bit of pocket money, and the advertising companies get what they want too. It’s a win-win situation!
The only problem I have with the two services that pay you to post is that you have to be quick and grab the good paying ads before all the opportunities are taken. Yes, that’s right. Each opportunity is limited to only a few bloggers. So you got to get in grab an opportunity and post it before there’s nothing left.
If you want to try something more than Adsense, I would suggest signing up for PayPerPost first. I’ve been enjoying what I’ve experiences so for with PayPerPost and they seem to be more on the ball so far.

for blogging about a product you truly love right. Well now you can. I am definitely going to give it a try. Hopefully I’ll receive some nice pocket change. The higher your ranking the more you get paid. I checked Google and currently I’m at 5.

That’s pretty cool. I might have to check it out. You should check out Survey Savvy. They pay you to take surveys. I’ve always wondered about the Pay Per Post. I get hammered with spam bloggers at least 30 per day however they automatically go into Spam Karma.
