National Treasure: Book Of Secrets can be the average Indiana Jones fan’s fix. I don’t know about you but I feel that the first movie and this one really reminded me of Indiana Jones. Being an Indiana Jones fan, this fits right in with my genre of Action Adventure type movies.

I like this movies whole concept that there are conspiracies and secret government cover ups that hide the truth about our history. Even if it is fantasy or not, it just gives you the ‘what if‘ feeling that I really enjoy getting out of a movie.

Treasure hunter Benjamin Franklin Gates looks to discover the truth behind the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, by uncovering the mystery within the 18 pages missing from assassin John Wilkes Booth’s diary.

Nicolas Cage plays the know-it-all character (Ben Gates) as he did in the first movie and does it very well, like he usually does in all of his movies. I don’t know, there’s just something about his acting that intrigues me.

The supporting cast play their parts very well too, and it is nice that they use some comedy to break you away from the intense seriousness, reminding you that this is an adventure, not a history lesson.

I really, really enjoyed this movie a lot, and if you too are into action adventure type movies then you too will enjoy this awesome movie.

I seriously recommend that you see this movie. It’s an adventure in itself!
