Holy cow time sure flies when you’re playing on the computer doesn’t it?
I have nothing done today.
When I got up, I went to take a shower and there wasn’t any hot water again, and the Superintendent was not home to come fire up the boiler again.
That meant no shower and no dishes being washed.
So I thought I would kill some time reading up on some blogs and getting some reviews done up and writing a few posts on this site and the Opinion one.
Next thing I know it’s late afternoon and the Super has probably been home for awhile, and I was supposed to make a call at 2pm to make arrangements to move into the new apartment on the 24th.
Well guess what, I’ve got nothing done, and I have just a few hours left before I have to leave for work! So it’s shower, eat, and do the dishes as soon as there’s enough hot water in the pipes! Yikes!
Maybe I’ll get a bite to eat first. 
Also, this Idiot outside has been going back and forth on this 40 foot long patch of ground where their doing this construction trying to move the fill into his yard. He’s been backing the mini dozer up with the bucket dragging the fill into his yard. Thing is, he’s moving less than an inch of fill at a time. It’s obvious that he has no idea how to operate the damn thing!
I have my windows closed because when he backs up, the frigging beeping warning sound goes off and is still so loud it is very audible through the windows. He’s been at it for the past 5 hours and has moved maybe about 2 inches of fill all together and he’s still going!
I wanna go down there and rip that fucking beeper off the frigging dozer and bash him up side the head with it!
Well I better wrap this up. I got very little time left here to get things done.

talk about time going by whilst playing, I’m still playing that frigging shuffle game – I think I might be caught in some parallel universe because I can’t seem to stop.
In the “having a bad day department”, I also helped move some bookcases up three flights of stairs for my neighbour and on the second landing someone lost their hold and I ended up with the bookcase smashing my face against the wall — why is it always that the heaviest end of things you have to move is the end that I get stuck with? I’m nursing a bruise under my right eye which apparently stopped the bookcase in mid-fall and almost crushed my skull in the process — and I got yelled at by the other guys helping lift the gd thing.
I did not offer to help with the second sucker and went home and made myself a drink (double Scotch) straight up because I had to use my ice cubes for the swelling

A good stiff drink cures all pain.
Take a cold shower. It’s great for your circulation and gets the lymph nodes moving.
Heck no, that bookshelf is light, and crooked, compared to the ones we moved. Have recovered though and now have plenty of new ice cubes.
