Hi John, I know this has nothing to do with your post. I just have to express my annoyance with all these elections. Let’s see, I voted in 2004 and went with the Liberals because I figured Mr. Martin was the lesser of two evils. Then I voted again in 2006 and voted for Mr. Harper, because I never liked Mr. Martin and thought lets go with the other evil. Now 2 years later I am told there is going to be another election. I said a few choice words at the TV screen when this announcement was made and a few more choice words because it interrupted my Coronation street. I am fed up with elections!!! I have no idea who to vote for. The Green Party and the NDP do not support our military and our troops. It is our military right now who is keeping our soil safe from the evils across the big pond. So I am back to which evil do I vote for. I vote because good men and women died for my right to vote. Strong women protested and fought for other women to have the right to vote. So, I will vote. Though I hang my head and sigh once more and ask myself, “will I be doing this again in another 2 years”. So I guess I will have to close my eyes and let the pencil fall where it may on election day. Anyone else out there as frustrated with elections as I am?
@Edna – The problem with the pencil dropping is that you might get the most evilest one in. I can’t stand politics and could never understand what comes out of their mouth most of the times. I wish they would just say what they would like to do and how they can benefit me instead of running off with the diarrhea of the mouth.
Exactly!!! I want to start the Edna Party. My party does not run negative ads attacking other parties, my party does not take part in mud slinging and finger pointing. My Party will take responsibility for their actions. My party will speak a language that all Canadians understand, not all this Political hogwash. My party will stand for the people and their causes. Not the causes of those in government. Whose behind me? Let’s start the Edna Party today….lol.

Thanks DragonLady. I have noticed there has been attacks between the parties down south as well. I don’t understand why attacking the other party secures more votes. Politicians are like small children who need to have a Time Out in the corner until they can learn to play nice with each other.
