Paris: F*@k The Laws! I`m Rich!
Thursday, September 7, 2006 18:24 | 94 viewsCelebrity Paris Hilton was arrested in Hollywood early on Thursday for suspected drunk driving, but she said the incident had been blown out of proportion and that she may have been speeding to get a late-night burger.
Hilton, 25, the heiress to the Hilton hotel dynasty known for her hard-partying lifestyle, was pulled over by police in Hollywood around 1 a.m. for driving erratically.
"I had one margarita (and) was starving because I had not eaten all day," she said. "Maybe I was speeding a little bit and I got pulled over. I was just really hungry and I wanted to have an In-N-Out Burger."
And this give her the right to ignore the law why? So, let me guess. Just because a person is a celebrity or is filthy rich, they can do whatever the hell they want?
That just doesn't seem fair at all.
Go home and cook a freggen' burger yourself you lazy bitch!
"I think they (the police) wanted to make a statement. They even said 'there are a lot of people watching. We don't want them to think we are giving you special treatment'," Hilton said.
Police said Hilton failed a sobriety test but she has not been charged with any offense. That decision will be made by the Los Angles County District Attorney in the next few days.
OK, she failed the sobriety test. The police said they didn't want to appear like they were giving her special treatment? Ummmm… correct me if I'm wrong here folks, but isn't it true if you fail a sobriety test you get charged? Also you get charged for speeding and driving reckless right?
So WTF!?
Hilton's publicist Elliot Mintz, who picked up his client from the police station, said Hilton was affected more than usual by the one drink she had because it was "one drink on an empty stomach after a full day's work."
"Everything I do is blown out of proportion," said Hilton, not known for shying away from publicity. "It really hurts my feelings."
So if you say you only had one drink, you can still drive recklessly and test over the legal limit, then it's all OK then right? You'd figure that with all this partying and binge drinking she would be able to hold her booze. Puleeeeez one drink made her more effected because of her empty stomach? More like her empty head!
Why don't they just throw this bimbo in the freggin' slammer for a few weeks and teach her a lesson before she freggin' kills somebody.
Jeepers!

I can’t really saying anything. I remember a night or two in my 20’s when I drove home drunk and didn’t really remember how I got there. So, I can’t condemn her just because she’s a rich celebrity. Lots of people do stupid things in their 20’s.

Yea, but lot's of people get busted and pay for it. Unlike her, they just let her go. She still broke the law.
If it were just some regular Joe, they would have locked them up.
She's always driving and smashing things up, and they never do anything about it.
I say teach the the Ho' a lesson!

Yep, like Skye said, there was a couple of times in my 20’s I should never have gotten behind the wheel. But had I gotten busted, my ass would have been behind bars.

Well, from what I read, she was arrested and her sister and/or publicist bailed her out of jail. She hasn’t been charged with anything yet…they are waiting for a DA to make a determination about that. Either way, she will still need to request a hearing before the DMV to determine how long her license will be revoked.
