Fulemyblog.com is having a photo contest and the winner will win a new Digital camera. Since my digital camera is is mega old, on the fritz, and practically unusable most of the time entering a contest with the chances of winning a new camera.

The contest is titled, “View From My Window” and you know me, I can’t just snap a plain ol’ picture without jazzing it up a bit.

I ended up taking this picture depicting how crappy things are going for me at the moment, with, well….everything. Just experiencing some really bad luck lately, and just when you think things can’t get any worse, BOOM!

So that’s basically the reason I chose this one to send in as the instructions said to do. You can view the full sized image in my gallery here.

Looking at most of the entries, it seems everybody wants to take a scenic rout, but IMO a lot of them have nothing to do with the theme it seems.

So this is my, “Yes things can get worse” submission.

s an old camera, and I have no idea what it would cost to have repaired. It’s obviously a sensor issue because the batteries are not dead, the camera is. What timing too. Now would be a good time towin that photo contestfor sure. I couldn’t be in any more dire need for a new camera than now. The Kodak DC5000 was a good camera. It just sucks that it just decided to up and die on me just all of a sudden. DAMN! Timestamp certified

Okay, I voted. Yours was definitely the most unique image there. Do they let you see how many votes each person has so far or are they the ones who judge it?

You just voted to fuel my blog. That’s not for the contest. There’s going to be a panel of judges. You can request to become a member of the panel if you wanna’ judge the photo’s

A panel of judges will determine the winner, if you would like to apply to be on one of the judging panels, email us.

You know what? I don’t know either.

I think it’s a community that you just try and get to the top by votes. Then you’re displayed on the front page.
