SQUIRT!
.
That's what you may be hearing from soldiers over in Iraq.

STRATFORD, N.J. – In an age of multimillion-dollar high-tech weapons systems, sometimes it's the simplest ideas that can save lives. Which is why a New Jersey mother is organizing a drive to send cans of Silly String to Iraq.

What in the world is she thinking!!??  RIGHT!!?? WTF is Silly String supposed to do over there? That's what you're thinking, I know you are.
Well apparently, they use the silly string to detect trip wires that may trigger explosives. Hey if it works, what the hell, right?

Plus there's hours of entertainment when your not using it to detect trip wires!

That is muito bizarre!! Silly string is fun… If I was a soldier over there though I might be a wee bit pissed to get “Silly String”regardless of it’s purpose. It’s just sort of like “hey yeah, we know that you’re on the verge of death every minute or two, but here… here’s some silly string to help you not die.”
