It was just a matter of time that when the TV shows that depend on TV voters to make the shows what they are to backfire!

The show in particular I’m talking about is American Idol!

I even made a LOGO for this post! Pretty kewel ey!??

This isn’t a post to go at the throats of our friends next door, but this is also a post directed at all the Idol and Pop Star shows. There are a few countries that have their own version of this show.

But the thing is, the thing I’m going to rant about is the fact that over the past couple of years the show has gone to shit! The contestants are no better than the people (Including myself) at the local bar with the karaoke show.

The good ones get booted out before they have a chance to actually get to the best part of the show (Even though IMO the best show is the auditions), but the best singers get picked off while the bad ones stay.

This year, being the best year in the shows history at being ridiculed with the rumors that the show is being dictated with the Internet and false votes.

You know what!?? I haven’t even been watching the show this year! Just because of the shit that’s happening right now.

Do you really blame Paula for getting shit faced for this show. How else can somebody take the tripe they need to go through every single day with that British buzzard sitting next to her. I would be drunk too!

But Paula is NOT the star of the show! It’s the people she is PAID to watch!

That brings up the point of online sites that are out to piss Simon off! I tried to find the ones they showed on the news, but there are sites out there that encourage you to vote for the worst person on the show. They do this just to try to piss off Simon.

I would like to pop the guy in the jaw myself, but not at the expense of young talented kids that need this show to get themselves noticed by the world.

But instead the media is focused on Paula getting drunk, like we’ve never got drunk and made an ass out of ourselves! And then we need to sit there and listen to whatever Randy says about DAWGS.. Seriously.. his comments are shallow and un-productive. What the fuck is with all the DAWG comments. Seems to me, it’s all for him and not for the contestants. Lets get RID of the Dawg Pound and Get a Talent Pool!

And then we get to Simon… well.

Good job SC!

You weed them out at the start. You tell them what they need to hear at the start. You do what is right by telling the thing they need to hear before they go further in life making an ass out of themselves.

You’re comments are what makes the show. You don’t sugarcoat it and you’re not sitting there trying not to hurt feelings. Maybe a lot of these folks may be better off without American Idolt.

Here’s a few examples!

If this guy had actually won, he wouldn’t have become #1 in the rock charts IMO, but instead Taylor Hicks won that season. This is Chris’s site if you’re interested. All to bad that his face is still associated with this place.

I’ve heard that the stars from 19 studios under the American Idiot franchise only receive 1/4 of the profit from their sales. Apparently most of it goes to the big wigs of the show. So why would anybody want to actually be bound by a contract like that?

I figure the best way to play your cards right in this Idol Game is to make it into the last 5 or 6 and then purposely screw up so you don’t get bound by 19.

But since worst is the best at this point, you may want to revers that theory.
