Still Pending – Young Talent – Update

So I’m sitting here going through job ads, and I hear this tune playing on the TV (Was set on Music Station) and I was sitting here tapping and bobbing my head to the song that was playing. When it was finished I heard some guy say it was a young band from Portland called Still Pending.
That name sounded so familiar to me because I actually wrote a post on them back in April of 2007. I included a video, which seems to have become corrupt as it only plays halfway through before cutting out. I’ll have to re-upload that one.
Well anyway, here’s the song that was playing that had me tapping my feet and bobbing my head away;
Pretty catchy isn’t it? The chorus is stuck in my head and it keeps playing over and over all the time.
They sure have come a long way, and according to their web site, they’re going to be in a featured film. How awesome is that huh? It’s really neat to see them go from that low budget, home made video in the storage building to this network feature, with full sound studio recordings is such a short time.
I enjoy seeing kids do productive things and doing something with their lives that will help them cope in this crazy world. Parents should really try and encourage their kids in stuff like this, and show them video like this to help inspire them. It’s a hell of a lot better than to just sit them in front of the video games in my opinion.

@butch – I wish I was introduced into music a lot sooner than I was and it would have been nice if my parents got me into music lessons for something like Piano, because I believe I could have become a lot better than I am/was.
