That’s what I was thinking before I was planning on going to bed after work.
I’m talking about a beer. Not a quickie you would have with a spouse. Although, that would be nice too. But I was referring to having a beer before bed.
Well, here I am on my fourth beer now. So… so much for a quickie! Might even go for a 5th.
It’s now 1 hour past the time I actually wanted to be in bed sleeping too. So Yea. Looks like number 5 will be in my hand pretty soon LOL!
I don’t know what it is, but when you KNOW you shouldn’t have that nice cold beer, it always tastes all that much better than when you know you can have as many as you want because you don’t have to be up for work the next day.
WTF is up with that anyway?
Oh well. maybe I won’t go for #5 after all. I’m feeling sleepy, so I better go to sleep while I’m still ready too.
Good night All!
PS: I have a funny video to post after work Saturday night. Something already posted, but I’m sure some haven’t seen it yet.

Well, it is a bout time!
We’re in for a few days of some fine weather for a change.
The next few days will have temperatures ranging between 20°C and 25°C.
Unfortunately for me, I’ll be stuck inside a call center talking to idiotic **** customers. Customers who should be outside enjoying themselves, but instead they’ll be calling me to bitch about a half minute missing from their airtime, or wondering why their cell phone isn’t working when all they need to do is turn the damn thing on.
Hopefully I’ll be off Sunday and Monday as I usually am, and hopefully the weather lasts that long for me to get a piece of it.
But if my history of luck falling perfectly in place like that, I’ll check my work schedule just to find out that I’ll be working through the good weather.
OK, this isn’t supposed to be a post about work. How the hell did that happen?
Anyway, the weather is finally starting to turn around. Hopefully the remaining snow you see in places about the city will finally go away so we’re not reminded about the terrible winter we just experienced.
Best of all, I can crack the windows open and get some fresh air in the place. The cats will be able to enjoy sitting in the windows and feeling the fresh breeze on their noses.
And lets not try and deny the fact that with warmer weather, brings out the ladies that like to wear less clothing in the warmer weather.
Well, I have to go. Time to get ready for work.
Enjoy the nice weather, and if your out enjoying it with a nice cold beer, have one for me too would ya’?

I hope you all are having a super Good Friday today.
While you are all enjoying your day off from work I still have to go in tonight. This is one of the things I hate most about working at the place I am now. The only Holiday we ever get off is in the Apocalypse. One of the biggest downsides of working in a Customer Service Department.
If either you’re going to over-indulge in partying or taking some time to go to church this long weekend, have a good time, but just remember to have one or two for me while thinking about me busting my balls at my hellhole of a job. I’ll be making my sacrifice too, I guess huh?
At least I’ll be off on Sunday and Monday to take part in the last part of the long weekend. That’s something to be thankful for huh? A little selfish do you think?
Well anyway, have a good time this long weekend, don’t drink and drive and all that safety stuff.

OK, so here I was, getting ready for work. Everything seems fine right up to the point when I finished brushing my teeth. I started coughing a bit, and a bit of coughing turned into gaging and coughing.
I was coughing so hard I started to get a headache. At one point I coughed so hard I threw up. I started to notice something in my mouth that felt like pieces of food or something. When I put a piece of what-ever-the-fuck-it-is on the tip of my finger I looked and it was pieces of flesh. YEA, you got it right. That’s when I noticed blood in the shit I was coughing up.
So a trip to the hospital, surprisingly only an hour wait, to find out that I have a bronchial infection still. I got some free meds for today and a prescription that’s going to cost$43 that I don’t have and an order from the doctor to not go into work today or I’ll be completely FUBAR if I do.
I jokingly said, “Well, I have beer in my fridge so I’ll have no problem staying home today.” Beer I bought yesterday, but to my surprise he said, “Sounds like a plan!”
I was actually expecting, “Not a good idea. Don’t do it.”
Instead he said, “Just don’t take the medication if you do.” And when I said that I wasn’t expecting that response, he said that the beer would actually numb the tickling that is causing the gaging and coughing reflex.
The scaring from the earlier coughing was minor and nothing serious.
So here I am. Drinking a beer and enjoying my Doctor Approved day off.
But there is this one unfortunate thing called, bills, and debt, and a new hard drive purchase that require money. Cash that I can’t be making if I’m home.
But if I go into work anyway, I could make matters worse and really turn my throat into hamburger.
I’m fucked if I do, and fucked if I don’t.
So rather than sit around playing with myself, I thought I would try and take my old computer’s hard drive out and place it in my newer computer.
All was going smooth when I went to attach the cables. The old fat ribbon type cable that the old drive uses will only go into one spot, and that is already used up by the DVD ROM drive. The DVD ROM drive that is FUBAR as far as playing DVD’s in, but still plays regular CD’s though.
So I thought. “Ahhh. I can do without the DVD for the time being.” So I unhooked it and plugged in the old hard drive.
I figured that since there is an OS already on the HD, it should boot up. Just goes to show what I know… it didn’t. And since the DVD drive is unhooked, I can’t install windowz again from the CD. FUCK!
So I put everything back the way it was. But then I thought, “Hey! If I have to use this old computer, maybe I’ll just swap the memory out from the newer one and put it in the old one to boost performance!”
Well, guess what? The newer memory is DDR, the POS Older one won’t take DDR. So I put the memory sticks back in the newer computer and put the damn thing away and fired the old POS computer back up.
Why do I even fucking bother!!??
So I put the computer away and say to myself, “Fucking paying for a computer I can’t use. That makes sense.” And that’s when I thought. “Hmmm, maybe I should call them and hopefully the warranty is still good and they’ll send a replacement.”
Nope! Why do I fucking bother!!??
The guy I spoke to was obviously a Level 1 tech guy, in other words, he only knows what his trouble shooting guide reads.
I said everything in this computer is breaking, and he said that it is a common thing for hard drives and DVD drives to break in a year or two.
Yeaaaaaaaaa. Riiiiiiiiiiiight! This old POS computer is over 8 years old and it’s still running strong. Unfortunately, it’s OLD and won’t operate normally with modern applications. It just doesn’t have the juice under the hood.
The tech guy said, “WOW! You’re lucky!” I said, “No, it’s just good hardware.”
He then went on to try and tell me that Hard Drive and stuff don’t usually last more than a year or two. I wasn’t about to have a pissing game with him to prove who was right, so I hung up since he want actually helping me any.
So here I am, back at square one again. Beer in hand.
