…..Sorta.

I’m actually grateful that Christmas has past and all the hustle and bustle is finished, …sorta.. Since today is a Holiday here, tomorrow will be packed at the supermarket and I have to go in to pick up a few things.

I’m not looking forward to it as it will be people catching up on groceries that they couldn’t get the past couple of days, and then there are the folks returning bad Christmas Gifts.

That lucky fat guy that dresses in red is probably sleeping a few winks after a busy night. Thanks to him, folks are broke and in possession of crappy gifts. Well not all of them, but a lot I would imagine. Those people will be at the stores tomorrow, returning the crap they got.

Wouldn’t it be embarrassing to be at the store returning a gift you received from a friend or family member and then have them see you returning the gift they got you?

So did Santa find you all? Did you get any ridiculous gifts? Was it a good Christmas, or did things not take off according to plan?

Overstock.com is having a Christmas giveaway. So when I saw this contest I quickly went through their site to get in on the action, but unfortunately upon trying to register, there weren’t any options for a Canadian entry.

So I thought some of my American readers would like to give it a go. It is called the “All I want for Christmas Giveaway” contest.

I just got finished watching Shrek The Halls on TV and I have to say if you missed this one, you should make it a point to catch it if it comes on TV again.

It was a really funny show that the entire family would enjoy watching.

This half-hour animated TV special features the Shrek characters putting their own spin on holiday traditions.

It had all the same slap stick comedy you would expect from the Shrek Movies. You will get a lot of good laughs, I’m sure. I know a nearly busted a gut a couple of times.

If you see it, you’ll probably get a kick out of the Ginger Bread character’s reason why he fears Santa Clause. Here’s a hint, “What do most kids put out for Santa on Christmas Eve?”
