Holy cow! With all this rain, and more of it till next week, the humidity has spiked a wet and sticky level where everything you touch is damp, or wet.
It’s uncomfortable to be in, and it makes you feel like just you want to sit or lay around and not do a single thing.
I blame it for the constant headaches too.
I hung some damp laundry in my hallway and it’s still damp. That was 3 days ago!
The toilet tank is sweating and now there’s a small lake in the bathroom.
Everything in the house is damp and sticky to the touch.
Good thing I have air conditioning, or it would be even worse.
I just hope the rain lets up long enough to let them shoot off the fireworks on Wednesday for Canada Day. It would be nice if the humidity would drop a little too. I would hate to be out there prying my shorts off my ass every few minutes.
Anybody else feeling the blahs from the rain and humidity?

It’s been raining steadily for the past few days. I am wondering if there was a warning to get your Ark tickets for safe passage or not?
I just took a look at my web cam page to see what the river looks like and it seems to be a bit engorged, not as much as I thought though, especially with all this rain we are getting.
It’s amazing that we’re here in the end part of the month of November and we’re still having above seasonal temperatures. Usually it would be a few degrees below 0′ this time of year.
If it keeps up like this with all the rain, I’ll probably be taking a lot of good video of the spring flooding again.
It’s 11am an I’m sitting here with the lights on because it’s so dark and gloomy. It’s supposed to be daytime, but you would think it was dawn because if the lack of daylight getting through the dark clouds.
Everything feels do sticky and damp now too since it’s been raining for so long. I bet this is what the Amazon rain forest people feel like, give or take a bunch of degrees.
I have the window in the kitchen cracked open to let some fresh air in, it’s always so hot in here in the mornings. The sound of the rain is almost hypnotic. Start the animation to watch about 30 seconds of rain video out my window. As you’ll see, it’s pretty wet outside at the moment.
I’m thankfull it’s not 15 feet of snow and 30 below zero instead though.

Holy shit we’re getting a lot of rain here in Fredericton NB, Canada! So much that the police are closing down roads here in the city because of flooding.
When I was at work today, I was actually surprised at how high the river was, and that was earlier in the afternoon. It’s still pissing like crazy out there right now and it’s later in the evening. I can expect that a lot of low lying areas will get some pretty bad flooding if this afternoons river height was any indication.
The extended outlook for the weather isn’t any better, as it seems tat we will continue to see rain until Wednesday. It looks like we might get some snow on Thursday though. Ugh! I would rather see the rain than that shitty white stuff that turns gray after it lays on the ground for awhile.
Lucky for the Trick r’ Treaters on Friday too. Looks like it may be a nice day for them to go door to door begging for food. OK, begging for candies. Heh heh, Thank you whoever invented the security door. Little buggers won’t be getting in here and knocking on my door.
Well, anyway, it seems like I might need a canoe to get to work and back if this rain keeps up like it is. It gets pretty heavy at times too and very loud. There no way one can ignore it either because it is so loud.
This morning the east side of the city was in darkness because the power went out. I can see across the city out my work window, and it looked really weird the way it was all black where it is usually lit up with lights. There were a couple of lights here and there, but not enough to make any difference.
The power hasn’t went out here *knocking on wood* at all, yet. I hope it doesn’t though, because it sucks sitting in the dark with no puter to play on, or TV to watch.

I got up this morning and heard the rain pouring outside the window. When I looked outside, it was just coming down like cats and dogs. “Shit!”, I said. I have to walk to work in that. So I did.
It was still dark on my way in, so I believe that I managed to step in every single puddle along the way.
Aside from having to try and put up with a Snitch Bitch at work and try to ignore her phoniness, it was an alright day. BUSY as hell though. Which I rather enjoyed for a change. It makes for a productive day and the times seems to fly by quick. At least it’s not so boring when it’s busy too.
It rained heavy the entire day, which brought on a heavy rainfall warning from Environment Canada, and when it came time to head back home, it was still pouring out.
My Apartment Walkway
And to complete the day of pissing me off. It stopped raining 10 minutes after I got in the door. Yup, somebody hates me.

I went to the events taking place outside the old Government House as soon as I had the chance when the rains broke for a short period of time. Although it was New Brunswick Day today, it was also CFB Gagetown’s 50th Anniversary and they were showing off a bunch of their toys and stuff in town today.
The video below shows you just how bad it was raining this morning as I watched and waited for it to slow down or stop. Then when it did I headed out and took a few pictures and video.
Not as much video as I would have liked to take, but there wasn’t a whole lot happening. I videoed this remote control robot thing but as soon as I started to video it, the operator stopped moving it around and just moved the cameras around. Boooriiiing!
Then I took some video of one of the vehicles driving by as I was walking back home.
I didn’t stay long because it started to rain a little more heavier again, and I didn’t want to be stuck in a downpour. It wasn’t all that interesting anyway. At least for me it wasn’t as I’ve seen this stuff so many times coming from a Military Family, but the kids seemed to enjoy themselves rain or not.
The only active place was the line up of folks wanting to go on a tank ride. The one you saw in the ending of the above video.
I wish the weather was a lot better or I would have gotten more pictures and video. My feet were getting soaked and I didn’t want the rain getting inside my camera either. There probably would have been a lot more going on if it weren’t for all the rain. A lot of the scheduled events have been canceled due to the rain.. To bad really.
What miserable weather. If it were a lot nicer the scheduled events would have been fun.

It’s just my luck that since I’m broke, it would be raining all week.
No cash for a cab ride to work, so it looks like I’ll be having a wet walk into work for the next few days.
Sometimes I honestly think that Mother Nature doesn’t like me.
The way the weather outlook is going, it’ll be some wet walks back home from work too.
If it were just a sprinkle, it wouldn’t be so bad, but it’s coming down pretty hard at the moment.
Crossing fingers that it lets up a bit for me to get my lazy ass into work.
UPDATE: Go figure! Just as I enter the kitchen and take a look out the window, the rain decides to slow to a trickle, and nearly stops altogether just minutes after me getting inside soaking wet.
It cleared up thankfully, and ended up being a sunny day.
I was saying to others that I bet that as soon as it comes time for me to go home, it’ll downpour again. I was wrong, thankfully.
