Enjoying the Sun

Friday Apr 18, 2008

I have been enjoying the weather that we here in Fredericton NB have been getting.

Today it hit the 22°C (71.6°F) mark and I sat out on the lawn chair pretty much the whole day watching the world go amongst it’s daily rituals.

Buddy and Brain stayed in the windows, which I had open all day, and watched all the birds and squirrels run around the lawn while soaking up the sun rays.

There seems to be one problem though. Folks that like to take shortcuts through the front door exit and cut in front of my windows. There is a hand rail that leads right out to the driveway to keep people from cutting through in front of the apartment windows, but they squeeze through the opening between the hedges and walk right by my open windows. Being on the bottom floor of the apartment and having people gawk in is really pissing me off.

I’m going to make a phone call to the super to rig up something to keep the lazy asses from walking back and forth past my windows and gawking in every time they do. I mean, come on! Give a guy some privacy, ya’ know? I would like to have my windows open to let some sunshine in and not have to worry about gawkers walking by looking in all the time.

So anyway, besides the peeping Toms, the weather is starting to feel like it is here to stay. Sorry Corey, but I think we’re safe now, don’t you. I don’t think the weather will get scared away now..

Pretty soon, we’ll be complaining about the heat next. :p

Is Spring Finally Here For Real?

Wednesday Apr 16, 2008

I don’t want to jump the gun, but I think it is finally starting to look like Spring again. Not just a preview of the weather, but it’s here to stay I hope. Although the weather here can change to be the complete opposite in just a day here, like it already has, teasing us by giving us a taste only to take it away.

The snow is melting away really fast actually. The once 7+ foot tall snowbanks are now just under a foot now. Some completely gone altogether. The largest snowbanks left are the ones the snow removal guys made by dumping and plowing into huge piles during the winter months.

I took a little video while I was walking into work the other day. It shows just how much the snow has melted away. Yes it was hard to walk the path out behind my place and that is why the video is shaky in the beginning, the snow was loose and awkward to walk on while trying to avoid stepping in the dog shit that pet owners didn’t pick up. (You know who you are you bastards!).

The Other Mac sent some pictures of what he had to do at his job. You can see just how much of that white crap we had this winter and what they had to remove from the Greens at the Golf Course here in Fredericton. Both he and his co-worker had their jobs cut out for them. (Click on images for full sizes)

At least, for now, it looks like plenty of mowing days are ahead.

I really hate snow. It blocks off all the shortcuts I take to get to work and back, hopefully the muddy part of Spring passes by quickly. Yup, the wet part of the season that brings you that nice fresh dog shit smell in the air.

Warm Weather Brings Chicks In Swimsuits

Staying on the whole spring theme as with my previous motion sickening video post is like. I was actually surprised earlier today when I took a stroll next door to the store. I couldn’t believe my eyes, mind you I didn’t mind what I was seeing, when I saw this very nice looking lady walking into the store with what they call tankinis. It only reached 10°C so far today and in my opinion, that isn’t very warm for a swimsuit. It might have been the nice sunshine that made her feel warm and she couldn’t wait to show off her fashion.

This is just one thing I really like about the Spring. The ladies start to shed their heavy clothing for something lighter and more revealing. What guy would not want to see such lovely eye candy huh?

Feeling the warm spring weather only reminds me of things to come. And that is all the ladies out on the green (A park in the city) that can’t wait to get their suntans to look all bronzed and beautiful. They will be out there in their one piece swimsuits soaking up the sun rays.

I would just like to request that all you ladies get out your swimwear or have somebody buy you some and get out there and start your suntanning rituals. Yes, I’m a pervert, but somebody has to be, and you wouldn’t be out there if you didn’t enjoy the attention.

OH Boy how I love the warm weather :D

Ode To Spring!

I don’t know if you know, but I’m a Canadian that can’t wait for spring. I am the one who looks forward to the good Looking ladies ( and yes all the ladies that read this post are good looking as always, otherwise they wouldn’t be attracted to such a handsome guy.) shedding off their outer layers and sporting them new fashions of summer wear.

I took a bit of time and took a walk to the park on a nice sunny day. I threw this together too.

  1. 20 minute walk
  2. 2 hour video edit
  3. 65 minutes of video rendering
  4. +another 38 FLV formating
  5. 5-8 Keith’s Beers
  6. 6:15 mins of pure Spring Welcoming Video!

Spring My Ass!

Snow StormWell holy snapping arsholes Margaret! I walked into work last night and nearly froze my gonads off!

The wind was blowing and the snow was spraying all over the place. The walk was constantly being blocked by huge snow drifts.

I was wearing my Chef pants too and they aren’t very good at blocking the wind. Both in and out hee-hee.

It does NOT look like spring outside to say the least. It is the same outside as it would be in late January and mid February.

Spring my ass! It’s not Spring as far as I’m concerned. I think Larry should send some of his Vancouver  weather over here to help out.

There’s really no point in waiting for the weather forecast anymore because it’s the same G’D thing every day. Snow, snow, snow and more snow, with some blowing snow.

All I can really say now is, I can’t wait until Summer, then maybe then it will feel like Spring.
