Every week it seems there is a new study saying that what I’ve been doing for years and years is bad for me and I’m going to die of cancer if I continue doing it.
Well apparently shampoo, shaving cream, deodorant, and a crap-load more everyday items are killing me, according to a Toronto-based organization called Environmental Defense.
Environmental Defence has released a Movember-timed report that targets men, and specifically, some of the grooming products they’re likely to employ come December 1 to shave off that mo’stache.
The report claims certain chemicals found in the shaving creams, deodorants, body washes and shampoos in men’s products have been linked to a list of serious health issues ranging from sperm damage to cancer to birth defects.
These chemicals, they say, are not listed on the products’ ingredients list.
There are critics accusing the Canadian non-profit of harboring an agenda beyond environmental concern also, so who is following up on this? Do I stop my hygiene regiment till somebody verifies this or do I continue, but then die later on because they were right all along? If this is actually true, why does Health Canada still allow these things to remain on store shelves?
I smell greed, and payoffs to look the other way is what I smell. There is somebody cashing in on this stuff and they all have big fat wallets at the cost of the public’s health. What do they care that people die from the cancer they got from a bottle of shampoo? Just as long as they’re rich and healthy, why should they care about the public? I really hope this Non-Profit organization is really wrong, and that Health Canada investigates these claims, just to be on the safe side.

I may stink awhile till this is all cleared up.
Better keep your distance till then I guess.
