OK, this is a chick movie, so I'll start off by saying that I really don't care much for chick movies.
I thought that The Breakup was going to be a nothing but a comedy? But is ended up being a Chick/Comedy movie.
Vince Vaughn wasn't as funny as he usually is. He was a bit more serious in this movie than his other work.
The best part of the movie, for me at least, was seeing Jennifer Aniston's bare ass. Yup She's half naked in this one guys. And yup, your gonna wage your tongues too. I know I did.
After Brooke (Aniston) calls it quits with her boyfriend Gary (Vaughn), neither person is willing to move out of the condo they share. Taking the advice of their respective friends and confidants (and a few total strangers), they both engage in mental warfare designed to force the other person to flee the premises — until they both realize they might be fighting to keep their relationship alive.
If your into chick flicks, then this is the movie to take your, girlfriend/wife/boyfriend/husband/other, out to see.
Don't expect a lot of comedy in this one though, there are a few moments you'll chuckle, but not enough to really call this a real comedy.
I wouldn't recommend this one just because I don't care much for chick flicks. But if you like chick flicks, then go see it.
