The Canadian Spy Coin?

Spy Coins

OMG! I had a good laugh at this one. Then I had to think about the fact that this paranoia comes from people running a powerful country. nail biting

Are they serious??

Who would honestly believe that a quarter would be a spy coin? That’s ridiculous.

I think somebody has been watching a little bit to much of the James Bond Movies LOL!

The silver-coloured 25-cent piece features the red image of a poppy – Canada’s flower of war remembrance – inlaid on a maple leaf.

What suspicious contractors believed to be “nanotechnology” on the coins actually was a protective coating the Royal Canadian Mint applied to prevent the poppy’s red colour from rubbing off. The mint produced nearly 30 million such quarters in 2004 commemorating Canada’s 117,000 war dead.

Nanotechnology, that’s just precious! Flattering actually. I usually hear a lot of comments that we Canadians are dumb and lacking the know how in technology.  Things like we’re still living in igloos and living off of moose meat and seal blubber. LOL Now to be accused of spying with 25¢ coins containing nanotechnology is just priceless!

“Isn’t the Canadian piece something that should be briefed to Northcom since the Canadians sit in their SKIFs?” asked the Pentagon’s deputy director for counterintelligence oversight, in e-mails marked “Secret/NoForn.”

“Good point,” replied the Pentagon’s acting director for counterintelligence. “It is possible that DSS (the U.S. Defence Security Service) sent their report to Northcom. Then again, I don’t think it is an issue of the Canadians being the bad guys, but then again, who knows.”

Who Knows? LOL And SKIFs? C’mon really now? Are these guys living under a fucking rock?

What are they teaching their children in school these days? Do they not teach anything outside of their own history? Are they so hard pressed to find another form of terror to enforce on their citizens that they have to make up ridiculous shit like this? LOL, I just can’t stop laughing at the thought of people freaking out when they see one of our 25¢ coins showing the red poppy. “Quick! Throw it away! It’s spying on you!”

I just found this news article very amusing and just had to share it with you all.
