The Customer Is NOT Always Right!

Craig - The Douche-bag Customer
I deal with Douche-bags like this every gosh darn day!
They think the phrase, “The Customer Is Always Right” is something they can use whenever they want something when dealing with businesses.
For some reason they think that a company will go and looks past facts and truth and even though a customer is wrong that the company or business will just give them what they want. NOT GONNA’ HAPPEN!
If a customer is wrong, they are wrong, straight and simple!
After complaining three times about “burnt” decaffeinated coffee at the local Tim Hortons, Jimmy Craig is now banned for life from that outlet and the one in nearby St. Stephen.
Dow contends his staff went the extra mile to satisfy Craig, brewing fresh pots of decaf on request.
He said Craig was upsetting his staff and he was tired of his complaints, so he banned him.
Now if I was a customer in there and saw this douche-bag get a whole pot especially brewed for him, I would feel like I was a 3rd rate customer and wasn’t entitled to the freshly brewed pot when I got mine.
I can only imagine this is only the tip of the real story and that this Craig guy only mentioned enough to tarnish the restaurant as much as he could.
What I can see happening is he got his way once and abused his privileges and got a God complex every morning when he walked in the store and the employees tried their best to satisfy him and he would just be a dick head and give them a hard time.
I get these types of assholes all the time at work. If they’re abusive we hang up or if it gets bad enough they lose their accounts and get booted from the service.
I mean come on now. You get a cup of coffee, it doesn’t taste right. You ask for another cup and if that doesn’t work, you get your money back and leave. If it keeps happening then just stop going there. That’s what I did at the coffee shop where I work. Its shitty coffee, so I don’t go there.
But instead this dick head goes in and get a fresh pot brewed for himself and still bitches about it. What a fucking douche-bag!
This is my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.

John, you are so right. There is more to this story. I would say, that in order to be banned it was more than just three complaints. This owner did the right thing and protected his staff. I wish more owners would do this. There are so many people who need to learn respect for others. Just last week I saw a lady with a small child give a Superstore staff member a very hard time because she was doing her job. There was water on the floor of three aisles because of a flood and her job was not to let anyone down the aisle. The lady with a small child in the cart was verbally abusive to this staff member. I kick myself for not saying something because I was biting my tongue. The only reason I did not say anything to this woman was because of her small son. I did not want to scare him by confronting his mom on her public display of rude behavior and have her flip out in front of him. I can take it but it would scare a small child.

@Edna: Yea, the kid witnessing her Mom be an asshole was more than enough.
People can just be so rude to others. It’s sad that a lot of places the employer will expect you to take the abuse customers give rather than saying to the customer, “You know what? We don’t want your business here anymore.”

In the Superstore situation the store would have been held liable if someone fell and injured themselves. Only the clean up staff was allowed in the aisles, the staff blocking the aisles were not even allowed to enter. It was a small inconvenience but I waited until the aisles were cleaned. If the woman had just waited 10 minutes she would have been able to enter the aisle, the clean up staff was almost done.

There should be more reports of stuff like this. Any time a person is going too far, trying to bully their way into an unreasonable position, they should be publicly outed like he was. What a jerk.
As far as the Superstore goes, I totally agree with you. That woman had no place being suck an unreasonable jerk in front of her child. They’re going to think that its alright to abuse someone because they haven’t learned about safety. She obviously didn’t have any regard for it.

@MrCorey: I think this dick head actually exposed himself. Thinking he could smear the restaurant’s name but IMO it backfired. LOL
