The Drunken Meditator

Yup. It seems there’s an endless supply of the stuff. My head hasn’t turned into a raisin yet from dehydration. The snot flow just continues to go, and go, and go. Apparently from my eyeballs, as Corey pointed out, or as teeni put it, melted brain tissue from overheating, but I said one would need a brain for that to happen, so that theory is blown out of the water.
Work was really busy from the ECMA Awards that are going on all over the city, and because of them the Bars and clubs are allowed to remain open until 4am instead of the usual 2am closing times. So the drunks are probably enjoying that.
Speaking of drunks… There was this one guy that came to the restaurant and sat in the chair and never ordered anything. He just sat upright with his eyes closed. Sorta’ like he was meditating or something but clearly drunk to complete pickled brain state.
The manager, and the boss both tried to have him leave because he was not ordering anything, and was probably freaking out the other customers. Well he just sat there meditating. So the Boss, supervisor, and the Manager decided to help him out by dragging him out. Well didn’t he start to go all crazy in the lobby! The Boss, supervisor, and Manager apparently had to take him down! Three guys! Had to take this drunken idiot down! I guess he was throwing punches and everything.
Then the cops came, and didn’t the drunken boob decide to take some punches at the female cop! MACE TIME! They planted his face on the frozen pavement and tried to handcuff him. After the struggle they finally managed to get him in the back of the police car and one of the Officers came to the back office to write his report and I guess the guys are pressing charges too.
After that was all over, we were egging the guys on with, “Woah! That’s why you don’t mess with the boss.”, and “Way to go Rocky!” and “Look out here come the tough guys!” They were all sheepish as they walked through the kitchen.
So besides it being super busy, it was pretty entertaining too!
As for the cold, it has moved into my sinuses and chest. My head feels all clogged up and my chest is congested also. The fever is almost gone, but still there enough to make my skin all clammy. With it being in my chest, it causes me to be out of breath really fast when I do anything taxing. Sucks to have asthma and a cold at the same time.
So I’m going in again tonight to do it all over again. Last night went very smoothly and the time flew bye fast, so lets hope tonight goes as well, and hopefully I’ll have some more stories like the drunken meditator!

Don’t you love drunk people! See, this is why drunk people are the worst in the world. If everyone just drank pop, the world would be a much nicer, safer place.

POP? Damn give the Beer drinkers a break. We don’t work our ass off for a weekend of POP. Oh wait does that come with chips too.But if think a sober planet is a safer planet. Your sadly mistaken.

Man! There’s more traffic on the roads today than at Christmas time! Lotsa folks in town for the little music shindig! I left the house this morning at 11:30 to get a few groceries and sundries for Abby’s birthday party tomorrow (which may be small due to the supposed snow storm – none yet at 11:52PM). I got back at 6pm! Granted, I ran into two people that I’ve not seen for years, so that ended up in about a total of 1/2 hour of conversation. But, the rest was the running around. This is crazy!
At least I’ve got two beer left…before I hit the Scotch.

lol Sick or not, it’s freakin’ awesome to know that you are able to write entertaining posts. Forget the snot, try booze.

ryan, LOL @ POP! Drunk people can also be funny people too. It’s the bad drunks that give us good drunks a bad name.
We’re a merry bunch!
Other Mac, He’s just a young pup. Give em’ a break. OH, actually give him a beer!
Corey, it’s been a mad house at work. The Delta is packed and they all flock over to the restaurant to pack their pie holes. Last night was busier than New Years!
John Raul Joven II, Trying the booze. Hopefully it will kill the cold bugs too.

Yikes. An entertaining evening but a little too much excitement for my tastes. I hate to have to deal with drunk people. Yeah, maybe the happy drunks are not as bad but really, they just kind of make me sad cuz they get all stupid and stuff and I think they can get taken advantage of a little too easily like getting mugged and stuff. So I feel bad for them. Now, get better!
