The Interview. . .

DanceWell I just got back in from my interview.

I think it went very well, as far as the actual interview went.

I thought I bombed at the second part of the typing test, but the girl there said I did OK and I passed their expected 25% range. PHEWWW!

The keyboard they had me test on was real stiff, not like the one I'm used to, the one I have that's soft to the touch.
The test didn't allow you to backspace, so when I fudged up I was unable to go back to fix my mistake. My mistakes consisted mostly of missing letters, (Because the keyboard is stiff and you needed to press generously hard on the keys.) a small case letter on a word that has a cap on it when in everyday life you wouldn't use a cap on a regular word that's not a persons or things name, the start of a sentense or a title of something.

I did well, I was told, so that's reassuring.

The interview well very good, at least I think it did. A nice lady interviewed and did a very good job interviewing me also.  She was very informative, and explained everything in detail. We did the 20 questions in 60 seconds, and I think I answered them pretty good because I'm not sitting here saying to myself,"Gosh! I should have said….."

When I went into the testing area, I saw Corey sitting at his station working away with his big furry face, he didn't see me, he was working away. Wow Corey, you haven't shaved since the last time we saw each other!
On the way to the testing area, we went through the call center's work area. I was pleased that on walking through I noticed how clean it was. The noise was minimum, and I wasn't smelling any skanky smells like, mold, dust, body odor, perfumes, or feet. It was actually clean air!

The nice lady that interviewed me said they have a new class starting on January 8th, so they're rushing applicants  and need to make decisions real soon. I just hope they don't rush my application and skip it by in a hurry. I really want to be considered for this job. The things I was told about what they do there were awesome. A complete 180o turn from what Nucomm was, black and white, night and day. You can't compare the two places. One's evil, and the others the good. The dark side and the rebels. (that's enough!)

Well all that's left to do now is wait for that phone call.

PS: The cats behaved :D

So he comes in and doesn’t even say, “Hi!”. How about that! I believe that you got your interview with Rene. if you passed in her book, than you’re likely in the door. She’s a no nonsense person. So, now that you’ve let the beard out of the bag, I guess that I’ll have to post a recent pic on my blog. Good luck on your future of being so damn busy that you can’t think straight. BTW, I hope that you like overtime (and the way she said they’d pay you is true). :-”

On my way back out, your chair was empty. Just a coat on it. I was going to say hi on my way out, but you were missing.

My interview was with Julie. Am I still OK as for a no-nonsense interview? I hope so. :-s

Yea, that’s some pile of dirt you have on your face, you better post a pic now.

Busy = day flies by fast.

I thought the pay structure was pretty neat.

(fingers are crossed till Jan, 8th)

Ah, yes. I must have been trying not to talk to God on the big white telephone. BTW, did you get any of that GIANT 5 GALLON THERMOS of TIM HORTONS hot chocolate that they got us for today, just because it December (or is it because they’re not NuComm?)?

December 19th, 2006 | 2:47 pm

NO, no hot chocolate for me. :((

You know Corey, I hate myself for not applying there sooner. I really like what I heard and saw.

It was all out on the table, and there wasn’t that feeling you got like Nucomm, “What aren’t they telling me?” sorta thing.

Uhh Yeah Uhh Yeah:

Good luck with the job John. I haven’t heard one good thing about Nucomm.

December 19th, 2006 | 3:33 pm

You know, to be completely honest. Nucomm was alright at the start when I was doing Comcast Broadband Tech Support, it went to shit when they pulled that campaign and and gave it to Ontario.

I cant speak for the other Nucomm centers, but Oromocto sucks sweaty shaved donkey balls.
