OK, OK, OK! Don’t get me wrong about seeing movie previews, but the previews for this movie throw you WAY off!

Oh no, that’s not a bad thing in this case because the previews of The Mist on the TV make the actual movie look like a snooze fest! The short shock flashes of particular scenes in the trailer didn’t sell it well enough, and that is why the didn’t make the money they should have IMO.

A freak disturbance in cold and warm air pressures making for an eerie fog like haze makes for a unreal state of realism… it unleashes a species of blood-thirsty creatures on a small town, where a small band of citizens hole-up in a supermarket and fight for their lives. Don’t throw rocks in a glass house they say. Now you know why!

Now before you go off saying, “It a supermarket and it’s 90% windows! Why are they in there and why is it that victims always end up in the worse possible places in cheap movies!!??”

Well they actually tackle that question and it sorta makes enough sense to make the movie entertainable. If you stay glues to the screen like I did, you’ll eventually get it. Maybe everybody is different, but you’ll get it.

Oh and by the way, the hick guys in the clip that turn on the lights were told to do so if anything bad happened.

The special effect I will admit get a bit “Stop Animation” looking, but when you actually get into the movie, you’ll notice more realism in that special effects part of the film.

The storyline is the part that will most likely keep you watching despite any flaws you might pick up. It’s the story of, “What if?” that gets you.

I could go on and on about this movie, but if I said more than I have, especially after adding the preview, I think it would be to big of a spoiler.

So all I can really say about it is, “Don’t pay attention to trailers, the movie is actually really good!” I really liked this one!

I just want to add to this for anybody that HAS seen the movie, “Didn’t you feel Bad for the Father at the end? GAWD! Could you imagine being in his shoes??!!!” That’s why I say, no matter what happens, die trying, never give up!

Oh, By the way, my species will be eating you all up on march 28th.
