The PC Police are at it early.

Wow! I was over at Wil Wheaton's site reading a post he has about a resident that had a wreath outside their home that was in the shape of a peace sign. Aparently the peace sign is evil now!
When did this happen?
Well, a few nut jobs in the Home Owners Association  think it's evil anyway.

It seems the peace bashing PC Police are making their holiday season rounds early. This will be the beginning of the usual  annual anti Christian protests, PETA protests, Greenpeace Protest,  OMG you cant put a Nativity Scene out in public protest, and "Hey! You looked at me funny!" protest.

Can you imagine being fined $25 a day for having a wreath shaped as a peace sign.
The HOA must be anti peace.

"The peace sign has a lot of negativity associated with it," said Kearns.
"It's also an anti-Christ sign. That's how it started."

Check out Wils article , I couldn't have worded it any better than he did.

I cannot receive Trackback or Pings while AuthImage is turned on.
I’ve had to set strict settings due to the insane spam trackbacks, pings, and comments.

Well yeah, It happened many many years ago, lol. I mean, have you ever looked up the origins of the peace sign? Yeah yeah yeah I know, it’s just like the whole Christmas thing if you really want to get into it. The origins of Christmas are pretty freaky too, and everyone says “Yeah, maybe so, but it’s the reasons (or intentions) *I* celebrate it that matters.”

Anyway, who cares? Lot’s of our symbols and celebrations and what-not started out pretty freakin crazy, but really, who cares? Read those links anyway, interesting.
