Piss Pop Mmm, Yumm.

Oh, wait! If it smells like piss, and it tastes like piss, and a cow actually pissed it out of it’s bladder, then by George, it is piss!

I did the whole shaking of the head when I first read the headline over at Yahoo News on an article about a company in India making a new soft drink made from cow piss.

Yup, did the whole gag thing too.

A hard line Hindu organization, known for its opposition to “corrupting” Western food imports, is planning to launch a new soft drink made from cow’s urine, often seen as sacred in parts of India.

I’m not shocked at this actually. They are always doing outrageous things and come up with the wackiest things that the average westerner would never even think about doing. I personally think they’re fucked in the head, but that’s just my opinion and you’re entitled to it.

The Hindu group has campaigned against foreign imports such as Pepsi and Coca Cola in the past, which it sees as a corrupting influence and a tool of Western imperialism.

Yet they want us to cater to their wants and traditions here in the west by providing them with shrines in sports stadiums for prayer times and demand that we change traditional military, police, and security uniforms to accommodate a turban. We wouldn’t want impose our western culture on them though.  But that’s another post entirely.

So sometime down the road when you hear somebody say, “This pop is warm as piss.” they might actually not be complaining. They might actually be enjoying a nice glass of bubbly cow piss pop. Mmmm yummy!
