I knew it was going to be a good day when I checked my bank account to see if Google has finally made their deposit into my Bank Account, and not only did Google make their deposit, but PayPal made theirs also from my Sponsored posts. It couldn’t come at a better time either.

But that wasn’t the end of the morning winning streak, on my walk into work a few pieces of change laying beside a squished pop bottle (Probably run over by one of the trucks in the parking lot) caught my attention. I went over and picked up the change and noticed more inside the squished pop bottle. Wow! And extra $5 in my pocket! Keep the money coming! Unfortunately, no more money luck.

Fortunately that cash came in at the right time because I was almost to the point of asking Mom for a donation of food. So after work I ended up spending $180 on hardly nothing. The price to keep yourself from smelling and looking like a caveman is expensive! The shit I needed for personal hygiene was the most expensive than the food when you compare the amounts. Well the meat and cat stuff wasn’t cheap either.

Groceries are getting very pricey these days. I didn’t get any whole wheat bread this run because it’s way to expensive, so  I got a couple of loafs of white @ $1.89/ea. and that’s a lot IMO too.

Today was another fine day at work. I’ve been doing a lot of baking. I made a few pies, muffins, biscuits, butterscotch and chocolate macaroons, and some apple crisp. I cooked off a bunch of soup, chili, and some casseroles over the past couple of  days. It’s actually kinda fun doing all that stuff. I have the special needs clients helping out and carrying on conversations while they’re there and not off doing their runs in the buildings.

I was actually surprised the other day when the Boss came over and started going on about having me make a lot of changes to the specials and coming up with new ideas as if I knew how the place operated and understood how and what people were interested in on my first day. I mentioned that I would need a week to get used to the place first at least, and didn’t want to step on anybody’s toes by coming in and flipping the place up-side-down.

Any ideas I come up with with be gradual, and not sudden. Besides, the amount of recipes they have there for both dinners and deserts is unbelievable. I’m talking hundreds! I honestly don’t think I know anything new to be completely honest.

I’ll just stick with learning the daily rituals and then start trying to make new things while keeping the regular stuff flowing.

It’s all good though. I just need to get my sleep patterns in Que and stop falling asleep when I get home (PS: Thank you Red Bull for Today) and end up sleeping all day and night. My body still thinks that it is bed time when it is light outside.

This is going to be a good job, I can feel it. I actually even feel better too.
