		<description>I think the remote one would be a better model to use anyway. Just in case you&#039;re dog needs to bark to warn you about something, lets say a burglar or fire.

But when your dog is barking for several hours just trying to talk to the neighborhood, then a quick zap after telling him to be quiet should do.

		<description>I&#039;m still on the fence about these. My wife bought one for our dog but he was already pretty mild mannered. Coupled with my wife&#039;s already great training, he wore it for maybe two shocks and he listened about 100% after that. (remote control collar) We&#039;ve used a bark color on another dog before...She had a chronic barking thing. Unfortunately though we weren&#039;t training THAT one so I can&#039;t really comment about it&#039;s lasting effectiveness.</description>
