TV? What’s TV?

Friday Aug 3, 2007

You know for the past few weeks my television has hardly been on at all.

If I’m not sleeping, I’m working, and if I’m not working I’m sleeping, and if I’m not doing either, I’m Buzzed out on Keiths, if I’m not buzzed out on Keiths, I’m hung over and if I’m not hung over, working, or sleeping I’m buzzed, but if I’m not buzzed, hung over, working, or sleeping, I’m broke and just sitting on the computer playing, and quite possibly buzzed out on Keiths, it varies.

You follow?

Well anyway, non of them activities actually include watching any Television. The only time my TV is actually on, is when I’m watching a movie and that’s pretty much it.

I rarely watch any cable TVshows at all, because …well… the programming sucks donkey balls. Any real good Television shows that I watch I usually have to download because I don’t get the stations here where I live because they aren’t available with my cable provider.

It seems this new role I’ve taken has taken up a lot of personal time, and the thing is, I didn’t really have a whole lot of it in the first place, except when I was un-employed and collecting pogy.

I guess what I’m saying is, why am I paying for cable television, if I’m not really watching it?

I bet though, that if I got rid of it, all these kewel shows would come on and I wouldn’t have cable TV to get them anymore.

How much TV are you watching these days? Is it because of the bad programming, or is it because you don’t have the time?Or couldn’t care less?

skye skye:

I’m watching way more than I used to, not sure why. Though, the only show I really try to catch is “So You Think You Can Dance?” Luckily, this second job I took on isn’t interfering with that, because heck, their down to 6 finalist, and after devoting this much time to it, I best NOT miss the conclusion…lol.

How much do you pay for your cable tv each month? Because if it’s a lot, maybe you could get rid of it, and save a few bucks by joining Netflix, where you can rent DVD’s of all the good TV series, like The Sopranos. I get 2 DVD’s at a time for a little over $14 a month, once taxes are paid, but you can get the one at a time one for even cheaper than that. Just a thought.

I’d be better off keeping it because of the package I have with my cell, and internet. The discounts pay for it I suppose.
