Verizon Math

Thursday Dec 14, 2006

So I'm doing my regular round of Blog catch up and wa-da-ya know? The Churning posted this little link that has an audio track of some guy calling into Verizon to explain the difference between $0.002 and 0.002¢. Well, lets just say not only does the Representative need to take math lessons, but his Manager as well!

I had to grab a copy of the audio file before Verizon has it taken down from that guys page or something.

Can you imagine paying over $71 for almost 36,000KB of Data Transfer!!??

{press the play button to have a listen}

$0.002 = 0.002¢  :O

YouTubes got the full 22 minute audio

Hat Tip to Jimmy on his post on The Churning

JJ JJ:

Verizon should hire a grade-school teacher to train their employees on remedial math.

I just found more on this topic. It’s scary to think that Verizon hired more than two people that don’t get this! :o

I’m glad I don’t have to deal with that kind of stupidity! *knocks on wood*
